  1. That's encouraging none the less, if true.
  2. Hmm, this is interesting! Would you be willing to do the position player side of this as well? Break them down by position and then by league again? I'd love to see if your hypothesis holds true.
  3. I doubt the Tigers sell. They should, but they won't.
  4. If you're trading for Cueto you might as well get the wholesale price on Chapman as well. They are more valuable sold separately, but the Reds might be motivated to move both together if they get the guy(s) they want.
  5. I've watched Valencia take BP 5 times this year, and he literally hits balls out at will. Guy has great pop.
  6. Sorry, my man boner for Danny V will not subside.
  7. Danny V is gonna silence all the haters tonight.
  8. Sorry Jonn, if I had it I'd give it to ya.
  9. Ya there might be something there. Doubt either side is really that interested, though.
  10. He'd look great in LF too.
  11. If the Dodgers really wanted to move Puig for pitching they could probably do a 1-1 for Syndergaard, Harvey or deGrom. Puig is worth waaay more than the ability to take on Hamels contract, even if you include Pap for free and Giles.
  12. There's no way the Dodgers move Puig for Hamels.
  13. Jose Reyes (3pts) - Jonn Josh Donaldson (1pt) - jays4life19 Jose Bautista (1pt) - Edwin Encarnacion (1pt) - Russell Martin (2pts) - L54, Devon Travis (3pts) - Dylan Dionner Navarro (4pts) - Chris Colabello (3pts) - Justin Smoak (2pts) - Danny Valencia (4pts) - Kevin Pillar (5pts) -o2 Ryan Goins (7pts) - Ezequiel Carrera (7pts) - Atothe Bench (8pts)
  14. I agree with your premise that anyone should be available. I doubt there are many GM's itching to overpay for Pillar though.
  15. He doesn't even need to be an everyday player long term though. He has a fantastic 4th OF profile- cover all three positions, above average baserunner, can swipe a bag. Good teams have guys like him to step in to cover injuries, utilize off the bench, etc.
  16. Nobody worth trading for ends up in Toronto with Pillar as the center piece of a deal, as Norris or Hoffman would be.
  17. I can't understand why people are so eager to sell on Pillar. For once the system has produced a useful position player who provides nice depth for the next 4 or 5 years or whatever. He's been a wonderful surprise, and a luxury that lots of teams don't have. Trading him won't fix the SP problem.
  18. Oh no, not downvoted!! Speak your mind GD, and f*** the haterz.
  19. The ASB treated me well for the Home Run Contest!
  20. Colabello is the perfect fit for Jack Z. First basemen playing a corner outfield spot poorly with an imaginary bat.
  21. Can AA sell AJ on Pompey as the Padres' CF of the future? Probably not, but SS and CF are two positions they need to address. They did trade for Matt Kemp so who knows.
