    It seems that they push those guys to put out so much content without much regard to the quality of it. I've basically relegated my reading to the daily chat and the odd Rotographs headline I find appealing.

    Yup it's certainly a tool that can be utilized in some instances, but making it a habit will have negative longterm effects.

    I view back loading contracts like credit cards. Some people seem to think you can continue to use them, until you hit that breaking point. Then your hands are fiscally tied and you're left paying a bunch of money for s*** you didn't really even want in the first place.

    I really don't think Frenchsoup is kidding. I've seen enough offseasons to know how the proposals go. Ben Revere+Chris Colabello+Drew Hutchison+SRF for insert top 40 pitcher. They get back a cheap outfielder, a first basemen, a SP and a good prospect ALL for one pitcher! How could they say no? We filled all their holes.
