  1. Lol they certainly do. You are correct!
  2. Shawn Green without Canseco HR's- 15,11,16 Shawn Green w Canseco HR's- 35,42 Solve for x
  3. Ya he is, that guy is sick
  4. What a clown that guy is.
  5. If a Jay wins though it would be Happ I think. If he gets to 21-22 wins he has a legit shot, probably.
  6. Cole Hamels seems like a great bet to win. Traded at the deadline last year, AL West Champs, Rangers ACE, ERA under three. Makes for a great story.
  7. I agree, seeing Shapiro's work over the last x amount of months he's been here I have a lot of confidence in him as well.
  8. Okay I was wrong, I bow down Mr. Tapia
  9. Is top 50 elite? I wouldn't say so but at the end of the day I'll have forgotten I made this post so who cares!
  10. It's not really stupid, the organization's player development isn't immune to criticism. With the potential loss of EE, JB and Saunders it's fair for people to wonder where those replacements are going to come from and if there is any way to fill them internally. Like you and Dinger said though, this is literally the worst time to question it since the Jays are under an brand new regime.
  11. No. Yan Gomes suxxx
  12. Paul Goldschmidt? Jose Altuve? Tony Rizzo? Those guys are all elite hitters who weren't elite prospects or high draft picks. Yes, I believe there is more to baseball than random number generating. Like I said earlier, I really don't care where our players come from. It makes literally 0 difference to me. But the Jays haven't had very much position player success in the last decade essentially, and it's fair to question it.
  13. The difference is that Devon Travis isn't home grown. Neither is Noah Syndergaard, Addison Russell or Jose Abreu. I really couldn't give a s*** less about whether or not the offense is built around a bunch of home grown players.
  14. Thats a brutal schedule.
  15. Too bad AA didn't take a GM job somewhere.
  16. Not really. There's 100% a difference between drafting and developing major league quality hitters and trading for players and then them finding success on another team.
  17. Can't believe I'm responding to a known troll. Anyway, reading is pretty hard I know. I didn't say I would, but I do think someone will. I'd love to set his OPS O/U at 800 for next year, the loser leaving the board forever. However, you'd just create another account.
  18. Do most really think Bautista won't get paid this offseason? Thinnest FA crop in years, a QO isn't going to stop somebody from giving him 3/60. Someone is going to look past the injuries and see an opportunity to buy low on a previously elite slugger who may still be elite.
  19. Being in SK makes for a long haul. I got to the RC for the first time last year to see the Rays series in July. I wish I could make more. I've got a good buddy in Seattle so I would love a Jays/M's playoff series so I could go there and see them.
  20. 6th is actually in front of 7th
