  1. Come on.
  2. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Pittsburgh would rather hold onto him than deal him for a lackluster offer. We see it every year- some team finds themselves in the thick of a pennant or WC race and can justify moving high end prospects for a guy like him (see Price; David). Moving him for less than what they deem fair would be disastrous. If they didn't have faith he would rebound I think we would've seen him moved by now. I think (and I know I would) rather bet on a rebound and selling him at the deadline than moving him right now for a package around Devon Travis or someone to that effect.
  3. Sorry to hear that Ang. As someone who hasn't gone more than a few months without a dog in his life I know how hard that can be. You're in my thoughts. Merry Christmas brother.
  4. Merry Christmas to all!
  5. Well like intentional wok countered, playing chicken with 80M isn't the best idea either. They put their best foot forward out of the gate and didn't beat around the bush. 3/54 with an option year would've seemed more gimmicky than 4/80.
  6. Run Carrera and Upton for all I care. Not re-signing Edwin at a price point they found fair signals to me they're much more concerned long term. The last thing I want to see is them refuse to give one up for Edwin and then do it to sign Bautista for one year.
  7. If you're going to lose the pick might as well make sure you get an option or two. If not just take the pick at this point and sign somebody else. Not interested in Jose on a one year deal at all. Would rather accelerate the prospect cultivation.
  8. I own a Lawrie jersey that hasn't seen outside in like 2 years. That was an embarrassing purchase.
  9. Sanchez has a legit shot of finishing last ever year.
  10. Pushing your own agenda I see KK.
  11. Hopefully we can all agree that this should not be considered fashion.
  12. Mo money mo problems
  13. Lol okay Jonn 250-300 bucks gets you a fine coat.
  14. It's funny because if these two guys were playing anywhere else the board would be pounding the table for one of or both of them.
  15. Please provide references or quantification thx
  16. I don't think Biagini has any tangible value to the Dodgers. They aren't moving Puig for a middle reliever.
  17. I would do Osuna for Puig in a heart beat.
  18. Coming to a theatre near you: RJF starring in Never Back Down 4.
  19. It might not blow up in everyone's face, but I doubt it'll be very good.
  20. It's always best to make assumptions, especially instances like this.
  21. I missed this, but I agree. Like, getting Edwin for only 3 years at 20 per is a no brainer to me. Eat half Smoak's salary and move him. There is no way someone wouldn't sign him to a 1/4M contract if he was a FA.
  22. Stick around, this is the best baseball forum on the internet.
  23. This is a derp post. If they signed EE and Fowler there would be no need for SS. Can someone confirm that with the new CBA that AAV is used for luxury tax purposes? That really only ends up impacting a handful of teams.
