    My favourite JP memory was when they unveiled the new Blue Jay uniforms. I can't remember who all was there, but everyone was either modelling the blue, grey or white tops. And then there was JPA.. in the spring training/BP gear. Extreme douche. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out bud. Edit: I see King has the pic.

    Trevor Bauer is their biggest name as far as I know. The Dodgers have endorsed their program and use it with their minor league teams. Oregon State for sure as well, and probably numerous other Division 1 schools. I think SRF's brother trains there too.

    Well one would presume that the problem is having that technology in places like Billings, MT or Eugene, OR and not necessarily the technology itself.

    Still not seeing the necessity to sign him to a one year deal. Edwin was the one to forfeit the draft pick compensation for. Jose on a 1 year + team option works for me.

    You don't have to like the idea of trading Vlad Jr. for Cutch. Hell, I could make a decent argument not to (but I won't because I would do it straight up). But your reasoning behind it being that he might not even be a replacement level player moving forward because he would have to adjust to the Rick Porcello's of the world is egregious. You're certainly entitled to an opinion, but when your opinion is based off of foolishness it loses all credibility.

    Anyone who honestly thinks elite hitters are subject to substantial drops in performance based on things like changing leagues and adjusting are so out of touch. These guys have the innate ability to make adjustments to 95 mph fastballs, so thinking that moving from the NL Central to the AL East would be cause for concern is so f***ing stupid I want to pound my head against the wall.
