Man, remember when everyone thought Verlander was done? Now he's putting on a clinic in the ALCS.

No that thing was absolutely launched

Nice job Omar. Go Astros indeed. Can't wait to kick back and watch tonight.

    For Jimcanuck's BORED team??

    Wanna make a wager?

One of Didi or Cozart are definitely available. I have no problem hoarding SS depth, but if you're in the market I am your man. Could use: Prospects Picks SP 2:1 deals where I get a slight upgrade on a SP or OF would work too.

    Settle down Boxcar

Wow this is quite disappointing. Briana is like the hot unattainable girl who never hooks up, but everyone dreams of banging. Redmond is like the chick who you've got a chance at banging every weekend after the bar.
  10. L54
8/10 would bang but she's no Briana.
  11. L54
Yup I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to.

That makes the most sense I think

Green seats for sure. I remember seeing a picture posted on here a few years ago that showed what the RC would look like with them, and they looked great. I love the green seats in Baltimore.

Jim can we get an update on Buxton's second half wRC+?
  15. L54
    Wow Byron!!

    Let's go Twins!

Then sign an extension and don't test free agency

I do agree with Jim's overarching point however. This team is in need of more than just one or two upgrades to seriously compete for the division, which will take contracts of multiple years and dollars to address. If they go that route, it's likely Donaldson is gone after 2018. If they patch the team together next year, is sneaking into the WC more valuable than the return Donaldson gives you this offseason? Probably not. I love Donny. Everyone loves Donny! Even my Blue Jay hating friends love Donny. I just can't envision a scenario where this team makes enough improvements to justify holding onto him through the end of next year. In that case, trading him in the offseason makes the most sense. I fully expect them to hold onto him though and see where they're at come the end of June or early July next year. We'd never be privy to this, but I'd love it if the FO sat down with Donaldson and asked him give them a list of places he'd be willing to go play. Let him know that they're going to be serious players for him next offseason, while retooling by trading him ala Chapman.

Wow! The mods are running this place like CNN. There are lots of good people, great people that frequent this board. MBJMBGA!

St. Louis is not moving their top two pitching prospects for one year of Donaldson. Besides, stay the f*** away from pitchers!

That's awesome. I'm cheering for them this October, would love to see Edwin win a World Series!

The way you get ahold of almost every other poster, via PM on here. Just because the one time you wanted to PM me my inbox was full doesn't mean I'm never going to empty it, meat! I don't know why my email is blocked, reason probably stems from another league. I don't think its that big of a deal, and really don't care to change it. If you're that horny to draft, make an amendment to the league to shorten windows to two hours. I don't have time to monitor drafts every hour to ensure I'm not holding anyone up.

Tage Thompson for me. The rest of my picks evaporate. Spanky, just because it says I'm online doesn't mean I'm sitting on my computer. I haven't missed a window and joined short notice. If we are in that big of a crunch, shorten the windows to 2 hours to ensure we fly through the rest of the picks as quickly as possible. Miro Heiskanen also needs to be added to my prospect list.

I agree. Not the first name that comes to mind tbh Unless you're Jim
