Semien does suck ass and glad the Jays aren’t paying him. Woof that contract is going to age poorly. I just don’t see the HR or SB upside to make him relevant in a league that shallow. Like he might be a 10/10 guy who hits .270/.330/.400

It seems to me that MLB has clearly communicated to the umpires that they need to impact Jays games to some degree. MLB knows that Jays playoff ratings aren't ideal and the idea of the Jays in the WS is a nightmare for American viewership. Being able to swing even 3-5 games against the Jays could be enough to keep them from playing in October.

Hello how does everyone feel about their team so far? Lindor has been great and I’m glad I didn’t offer him for Berrios like I was contemplating. Offense has been good, I think my pen can be really good which it will need to be to cover my rotation until Bauer comes back.

Most accepted that Ryu would probably be s*** in year four. Just so happens that it might be year three. That’s the gamble you take when an extra year is required to get the deal done. I have no issues with that contract
