  1. Multiple to cover each position Only one competent back up shortstop
  2. The lineup is super deep if you keep both catchers and use Moreno as a super utility guy. Multiple guys to cover every position except maybe SS
  3. I would. That’s a team loaded with talent, their arrow is squarely pointed up. Giants are meh
  4. Diamondbacks are probably better than the Giants
  5. I’d do Cobb for Jansen but doubt that’s a fit at this point, I’m sure they would’ve made that move instead of Bassitt and used the $ on an outfielder
  6. Yes I was gonna say this too. It’s documented he had difficulty seeing in that dump
  7. Seems like it was a mistake to move Adames because they had Wander.
  8. Part of the Willy Adames trade too. That’s gotta sting
  9. Maybe. I don’t see the upside, I’d rather just roster the catcher than the corner outfielde
  10. Framber from Houston. I don’t really see any other players I’d do straight up on CHC or CLE
  11. One thing is for certain, I’d rather have teams acting like the Mets and Padres than the s***** A’s Poverty franchise
  12. Gausman Manoah Bassitt Berrios That’s a big boy top 4
  13. They honestly might keep all three Sign a platoon-ish corner outfielder (easiest position to find) and call it an offseason. Maybe a depth starter or something
  14. Suck it to all the whiners This is a good signing
  15. Too bad Ross couldn’t operate your LOD team
  16. There it is ...
  17. Unless William Contreras suddenly becomes available
  18. Wow! Now the Braves have three catchers Wasn’t there a tweet saying this last week that they shot down?
  19. 100%. You need your arb and pre arb guys to be contributing at roughly the same rate as the guys who you’re paying 20-30M
  20. I don’t really care how the Mets or Padres operate. The real question is does spending aggressively in free agency end up in World Series championships? History tells us no which makes it an inefficient way of building a team. Most of the World Series winners over the last decade had a home grown nucleus that was supplemented with free agents or trades Astros- yes Braves- yes Dodgers- sort of Nationals- yes Red Sox - yes Astros- yes Cubs- yes Royals- yes Giants- yes Red Sox- don’t remember
  21. Yes it really is and spreading money between KK and a COF makes way more sense than giving it to Nimmo
  22. Who would’ve thought they could sign some FA or even trade for one and sign another?
  23. Woah she’s hot
  24. I can’t recall ever waiting on the $ figure because of the physical
  25. Agreed. The team is not considerably worse than the end of the year. In fact the team is better than it was to start the season last year and they have the entire season to make additions/call up players like they did this year. Remember they had guys like Katoh and Collins on the bench to start the year last year. That won’t be the case this year.
