  1. That must be the first runner thrown out this year
  2. I just had this argument with someone else. Martin has almost the same WAR as Molina in like 500 less games. Molina will probably be a first ballot HOF’er. Martin is definitely a Hall of Famer in my eyes
  3. He got in more trouble than drunk Pete Walker did for his DUI
  4. Jays upcoming four game series vs the Astros is going to be huge. You have to split to keep pace. Currently 3.5 back of Houston for the last WC spot
  5. Orelvis is going to be the Matt Chapman replacement. Great D tons of power low average moderate on base skills
  6. Some guys are saying is it even a question but ya it is. I bet if you looked at posts from the offseason lots of posters were choosing Vlad. Myself included. Vlad’s career year might’ve taken place in Dunedin and Buffalo
  7. That quote is great lol
  8. Who are you giving $300M+ to assuming you can only choose one?
  9. Exactly. He's doing the little things that at least give you some hope he can be one of the most unorthodox 2 WAR players in the game I would take Joey Gallo on this team in a heartbeat even with all his flaws. I hate that type of player but any production the Jays can get from home grown talent is going to be needed soon.
  10. If he’s going to play University you should think of the junior college route. If he can get into a good one in the Midwest (Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas) he could have a D1 chance. Obviously this is without knowing him but it’s better than accepting the first s***** four year that will take him. Two developmental years for Canadians is huge.
  11. Based on sheer volume of players I would say no. But the top end is equal. Team AB can definitely hang with team ON on a given year. BC, AB, ON and QB are perennial powerhouses. SK has had good showings at the Canada Cup recently.
  12. Such a weird guy to evaluate. I’ve been a big Orelvis doubter but he’s improved his plate discipline which gives me hope he can turn into a Joey Gallo type. Extreme outcomes on offense with good defence.
  13. Sounds like you have a talented son if he’s playing that level of ball in Alberta.
  14. I’ve got Toronto, Detroit, LAD, Minnesota x2, Arizona. Dodger Stadium and Target are clearly heads and tails above the others
  15. Noah Syndergaard and Travis d’Arnaud for Dickey will never be beat
  16. What a bizarre sequence of events
  17. Ya Johnny she is beautiful. I’ve only been to 5 parks but this has to be a top 10 in the league.
  18. I’m cozied I’m down LF line here at Target Field. Life is good
  19. He would still have a 6 K/9 in Toronto so doesn’t really matter Happy for you Joel
  20. You could get a couple of them back at least. 3/66M for Gausman is an incredible contract But it’s not happening
  21. Schneider not knowing how many mound visits he’s at is f***ing brutal. Checked out or what? What about the rest of the staff not pulling him back?
  22. Gausman would bring back a haul
  23. Yup the bench is terrible. The only guy who has been worth a s*** has been Merrifield Hunter Renfroe would be a good target if they are out of it.
  24. Should be easy enough to find a decent bat at the deadline. Someone who can upgrade the backup IF spot would be great or a LHH OF
