Agree with all of it except the pick offs. Maybe not unlimited but I’d like to see more than two. If stolen bases start to get outta hand I could see them increasing the number of pick attempts

No there was nothing to lose but if he has another 3 WAR season and hits 30 tanks next year wouldn’t you love to have him in 2025 for 14M? Hard to see him eroding so fast that he couldn’t be Brandon Belt in 2025

This is what will happen. PA won’t vote for it, but you’ll see guys start wearing them I’m sure. That s*** hits close to home I’d imagine junior leagues will mandate them and you’ll begin to have guys enter the league each year who are already wearing them

I would not give up Tiedemann and Orelvis for a year of Soto. I’m not opposed to trading them but you gotta get more than one year of control. At least they have the chance to be above average regulars and there aren’t a ton of them in the minors
