  1. Of course pick off attempts hurt your chance to hold the runner because you only get two lol which is why I would prefer more attempts You don’t have to like it but that’s my preference
  2. Maybe Yamamoto if we are blessed
  3. Need to know the advance rates before the new rules .4% is pretty much nothing and the idea that a larger lead with no threat of a throw would equal less success is clearly a glitch in the matrix I would give them four disengagements
  4. He’s winning by default. Like at a tournament where only one game has been played so they’re 1-0 while everyone else is 0-0 except for the 0-1 team
  5. Hmmmm I doubt it but could be. I think they just saw a good pitcher available on a two year deal
  6. Yup I think they’re looking decent. Baez contract is so bad
  7. Detroit could be good. Maeda is looked good and they have Skubal and Olson + Gipson-Long. Added Mark Canha and Tork has a statcast page that looks like Vlad’s. The Central is winnable and with a couple more moves they could be in the hunt Plus board favourite Riley Greene
  8. Post of the year! Thanks for this info man, really interesting
  9. Can’t bring them both in as 1B only guys, but if they added two big bats like that you’d have to like the way the teams looks
  10. Atkins has been about a B overall. Could do better.
  11. Skenes isn’t in the same class as those two. Langford and Yamamoto are the clear first and second picks, after that sort of a toss up with Crews, Skenes, that SS from Minnesota and a couple others
  12. Good memory. He’s hanging on by a thread
  13. As of right now, yes
  14. You haven’t named any of my players
  15. I wonder when we will hear more. Feels safe to assume he’s not playing next year
  16. You asked me a rhetorical question about AA being fired because they didn’t win the WS. As if one were to fire Atkins by the same logic you would have to fire Anthopolous too. I replied that AA has had a little more success that allows him a longer leash. That’s where your win/loss argument comes from. Atlanta has a WS and are 24-21 since 2018. Sure the record isn’t great, but it’s like 40 more games played than the Jays so I think his job is a little more secure
  17. Josh Donaldson sucks now. He would not be a positive influence on the clubhouse. He serves no purpose in Toronto
  18. Buddy it’s not stupid when you have zero playoff wins in your entire tenure and you constantly talk about “Bringing a World Series back to Canada” If the Jays had an ALCS and a couple ALDS appearances nobody would be saying s***. Instead they’ve gotten their s*** pushed in each time they limp their way to the playoffs. Then there’s guys like you throwing their hands in the air and saying welp they made the tournament and anything could happen just wasn’t our year gosh darn it keep up the good work Atkins
  19. What’s your contract proposal
  20. AA has more playoff wins in a weekend than Shatkins have in 5 years. I’m sure you can understand why one is viewed more favourably than the other Better?
  21. Yes I would agree with the worst. It’s fairly mid in my opinion Need better development in order to add vets or supplement the roster. They are prospect poor
  22. AA has more playoff wins in a weekend than Shatkins have in 7 years. I’m sure you can understand why one is viewed more favourably than the other
