The situation is bad beyond comprehension BUT when the video became mainstream the first reaction of a lot of people was that’s murder Reputation of being a dirty player Couple this with the family rightfully being pissed about the incident and probably putting pressure on authorities I don’t know. Maybe I’m just talking in circles but this will be interesting to follow. Impossible to prove intent but way it all unfolded looks extremely unnatural

Someone explain why it’s good Not everybody knows why vaa is beneficial to an org I assume because it runs counter to the current way of pitching and allows for more ride on the fastball but I am just guessing

To some degree registrations are down because of the lingering effects of covid + kids would rather play fortnight. Sad but true Also the landscape is much more diverse. Other options of sports to play, different demographics than 20 years ago

The perception is that corner infielders who slug .430 with 30% k rates don’t typically age well In my opinion Chapman is the type of player who has declines hard and fast and I wouldn’t want to be holding that bag. Kinda like NFT’s

Holy f***ing semantics. Everyone knew what Krylian meant but the word police had to come to the rescue Chapman has always had a very risky profile. He’s a glove first player who has had a few good seasons with the stick to tease an all star or even MVP ceiling but reality is it looks like he will age like s*** and the team who gives him 5 years will be paying 2023 Evan Longoria 25M a year for at least the last two years

You’re right a lot of his value comes from the contract he signed. He doesn’t need another gear necessarily but we just saw Garcia have the best season of his career by slashing the chase rate from 9th percentile to 42nd. Robert is 3rd percentile for reference The logical progression says chase rate will decline as age increases but some guys will just always be hackers If you acquired him it would be the same Varsho/KK alignment which just feels weird but beggars can’t be choosers haha
