  1. Not surprising--Reyes plays everyday, and has better numbers than Kawasaki--plus Kawasaki has options.
  2. Nope. He's below average defensively everywhere--he's a AAAA player all the way.. and Iglesias is the better option in Boston.
  3. With such a low average, I doubt it--more likely Dunn K's 3 to 4 times. He's been awful this year.
  4. Very winnable series. Better we're facing the White Sox than the Cubs..at least the Cubs have SOME talent.. this White Sox team is awful. How awful? Look at these numbers: 26th in AVG (.236) 30th in BBs (148) 30th in 3Bs (3--Jays have 9)--strangely, the Brewers lead with an incredible 24.) 28th in 2Bs (87--Jays are mid-pack at 105) 21st in HRs 27th in hits 29th in RBIs Pitching's not going to save them this time--they're only 11th. And yes, Konerko is cooked--and so is Dunn (.165/.264/.398) with 14 HRs and just 32 RBIs. And Alex Rios is the only real threat--he will get a lot of interest at the trade deadline, as Chicago needs a rebuild badly--unfortunately, one of their assets, Jake Peavy, is on the DL.
  5. Agreed. Cory Burns or Josh Lindblom will likely be recalled for Texas to get a fresh arm, with Wolf going to AAA.
  6. Rangers will likely be calling someone up--Wolf went 6 innings, and Kirkman is garbage. Lincoln was optioned to AAA after the game.
  7. It's not a good thing for the Rangers--considering Justin Grimm got lit up vs. Boston last time, a short outing could really hurt Texas, as Kirkman is garbage, and they were down to their set up and closer(Scheppers, Nathan) in the pen.. but they need them for tomorrow.
  8. Thanks! That was a LONG game... BTW, at least we didn't need to use a starter--Mets and Marlins are using starters in their game(which is STILL going as we speak--they're going into the 17th.)
  9. No kidding! Hopefully Sportsnet fires that guy after this who did that awful angle. Onto the bottom of the 11th still tied at 3-3. BTW, the Angels are pounding the Red Sox 7-2..Trout's got 3 hits(2 doubles)
  10. Yu Darvish is going to need some run support--he's lost/gotten a no-decision in his last 3 starts because of a lack of scoring, mostly due to injuries to Kinsler and now Moreland.
  11. Agreed. If anyone goes, it'll be expendable bullpen arms(Oliver), or bench players(Izturis, Davis), and maybe Josh Johnson, depending on the rotation's health and his value. All the Jays need is a retool--noting more.
  12. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/potential-sellers-non-waiver-deadline-astros-marlins-brewers-white-sox-blue-jays-060613 Blue Jays are not expected to be major sellers--despite what the idiot media in Boston and New York say. Besides, things may change within a month anyway.
  13. Man, those Cardinals are good--40-21 as it is! And with Pittsburgh and Cincy leading the wild card, there's increasing talk the Nationals are going to be sellers, along with the Dodgers(likely Andre Ethier due to Yasiel Puig's emergence) and Padres.
  14. Yep. He's on the lineup card out of the bullpen.
  15. No surprise. Crawford's got an ERA of nearly 6 in New Hampshire. Easy DFA candidate. Likely he gets outrighted--no one's claiming him with those numbers. When Wang comes to the team and Oliver is activated, the likely moves are: Lincoln and Perez to AAA, one of Storey, Weber or Schwimmer DFAed. Wagner's pitching too well to send down. Of course, both Perez and Wagner are pitching very well--Jays are going to have some tough decisions.
  16. Rough day for the Yankees. Wang bolts for Toronto, and now Vidal Nuno may be injured--he left his AAA start after only 1.2 IP(26 pitches). Of course, they still have a game tonight coming up in an hour(man, that Jays game was FAST..)
  17. Tepesch is running out of gas. Jays are pounding him now early and often--4-1 Jays.
  18. Tepesch is so nasty..the Rangers org. has come a long way in their pitching development.
  19. Hunter Renfroe? WTF are the Padres thinking?
  20. Keep in mind that many prospects will not be picked until later due to signability concerns. Shipley was a risk.. as he has a good shot of going back to school.
  21. Looks like Shipley for us. Meadows drafted by Pittsburgh.
  22. Hunter Dozier?? Not impressed..guess they're not impressed with Mike Moustakas.. and it screams of cheapness.
  23. And Jeff Keppinger chokes by K'ing with the bases loaded, letting Noesi off the hook. Man, the White Sox are bad--they're similar to the Jays, but with good pitching and no offense.
  24. Position player or a starting pitcher will likely pitch for the White Sox in the 15th--the White Sox are out of relievers.
