I still think it would make absolute, complete sense to cut him in a 240 prospect league. Surely there is some prospect out there that will be available and objectively better. Or if you just want to own a flaming bust to the bitter end, skip all the way to the AA phase and draft Courtney Hawkins.

Just sort by batting average, or batting average allowed for pitchers, and when in doubt ask the BP experts

Development isn't always linear. Robinson Cano had like a .650 OPS in A+ when he was 20 years old and generally sucked for his entire MiLB career. Mondesi's age matters so much more than you appreciate.

I love Biagini. I don't feel like he's trying too hard to be funny... just seems like he has a sarcastic / half-hearted sense of humour and maybe he deals with nerves by cracking jokes. MLB rookie nervous in every interview, so the flat jokes just pour out instinctually. I think he's hilarious though

Looks like they actually thought it was just fatigue. Sometimes a torn UCL doesn't present with any kind of elbow pain or sudden injury to the arm.

that would be Draconian. I would guess something closer to 80 games, maximum. Really depends what they know.

You would assume they do, to some extent. Time served... but right now he's on paid leave so it's not exactly time served. There will be some arbitrary consideration of the time he has missed already I think. Very arbitrary.
