Yes and maybe. As a DH Bautista would probably be a lot more productive in 2017. Him moving to DH would be a condition for giving him any contract. Saunders is a coin flip at the QO value. There are better deals to be had but the team will need a corner OF and he would project to be worth something close to the QO. Need to read the market and decide whether it's worth the risk either way.

Bautista should still command something at least as good as the Beltran contract (3/45). At his age, he should absolutely take a 3 year deal rather than take the QO and try again next offseason.

Yup - it's actually one of the most exciting times of the year for bottom-feeder teams. Almost every playoff teams ends up inevitably cutting a few keeper worthy players in order to make desperation adds or streams. -

It's impossible to force people way out of the playoff picture to micromanage their lineups at the tail end of the season. Since there are arguably fringe playoff implications I can swap Stanton for Pollock but I'm not going to do anything else.

I hate to reference the LOD in this thread with such frequency but I own Toles there so I lean towards diversification since all of my fantasy decisions have a tendency of turning to garbage this year

I owned Keon Broxton in the LOD while he went 0/50 to start his career so I f***ING KNOW HE'S BETTER. Schebler is starting and Toles is nominally a 4th OF though
