This FO has made a handful of really questionable personnel decisions this year. I have to admit some disappointment.
Tepera is legitimately awful--I'd rather watch Dickey pitch for my team in Coors.
Goins is a waste of a roster spot.
I still question Carrera over Upton.
I don't really know.
What I do know is that I regret every single fantasy trade I have made in the last two years and I no longer trust my own instincts
Awesome job with the clips. They came out at what looks like 150% speed, not sure if intentional or not to reduce size.
How often are Lansing games on the milb.tv?
Steve Pearce is awful and literally crying on the bench because he's so bad.
Eric Thames in a different city is everything his mom thought he would be and more.
Steamer Gods hate the Blue Jays
Why don't I work in baseball? Surely some front office has a need for a wordy smartass with no technical skills aside from phrase-turning and estate planning.
I think when you control a player like Donaldson there is an onus to compete. Their window runs through 2018 - that's how they need to look at it.
Next offseason they have Bautista, Liriano and Estrada as significant potential departures (also some relievers but who cares). Not irreplaceable by any means. And Estrada might be an easy extension.
So yeah, I think they can justify letting him walk. Take a shot in 2018.
