Let’s talk about calling a timeout when Kawhi is on fire. Didn’t Toronto also have one timeout left for that last possession?

I have a litre of Kawartha Dairy ice cream. I am lactose intolerant!
  3. Thank Tom Tango, MLB Advanced Media's senior grand maester of stats and database architect etc.

IF Durant is coming back at all then tonight will likely be their best chance to win one of the next three games. Home court, Durant likely out or his most hobbled, Thompson maybe still nursing his injury, Looney hurt, Cousins at his most fattest.
  5. I do this all the time Just let the kids post...
  6. Just swallow the mic next time like I told you to
  7. There's a video of Ortiz being shot, apparently. It doesn't look like an attempted robbery. Seems like a straight up murder attempt. https://streamable.com/y1wcn
  8. If you want to "let the kids play" then you should also consent to letting the old curmudgeon players be curmudgeons. The key point is that outsiders need to let the players just be the players - themselves. The real problem is media/fans obsessively piling on about player attitudes. It's easy to see how out of touch the old newspaper writers who complain about flashy players are... but the younger, twitter crowd should get some perspective too and realize that they're trying to create, stoke, and participate in a little culture war when they aren't even part of the culture. It's getting kind of annoying.
  9. Stable doesn't necessarily mean that either. The dude had a bullet go through his abdomen and he is probably in surgery right now. All of these reports are sketchy. He could be dead right now!
  10. lol Spanky I don't think that means he's fine
  11. Now they are saying shot in the back
  12. This is the one hit against New Hampshire today. You can't see the ball because it's in the glove
  13. David Ortiz just got shot, apparently
  14. Bartolo Colon is a free agent Not even kidding. f***ing sign him NOW.
  15. Hilarious but not really true. They should just give Jordan Romano an extended look at this point or fully commit to an opener strategy in front of Gaviglio or Pannone.
  16. I don't think they would quite be worse, but it would be close enough that if Baltimore gets a handful of lucky wins Toronto could end up beneath them

There is very little chance IMO that it's his calf. Dude has an achilles strain so he absolutely has something to lose if he tries to play and ruptures it. Look at the video of the injury and him walking immediately after. Look at where he has been icing it. It looks like an achilles thing for sure to me.
  18. Not really getting unlucky
  19. I doubt Vlad is or will be easily shifted on. I mean he’s a right handed hitter who doesn’t seem to have pull tendencies
  20. It doesn't sound like he won't catch at all, from the quote. I would imagine he'll catch a bit but also DH, get some reps at 1B, maybe even 3B. I honestly think it's a good idea. We see catchers increasingly getting Tommy John. We've seen lots of catchers have careers derailed or cut short by concussion issues, chronic leg issues, inexplicable drop-offs in production that may be caused by total wear and tear. Some time off of the position might benefit him long term.
  21. Nick Neal is truly a monster. 6'6" 290. Apparently he is one of the youngest in the class and reclassified from 2020 very recently. There's a chance that some other teams just weren't really on him and Toronto is onto something. Look at this big boy
  22. By wOBA - xwOBA differential, Toronto has 3 of the 15 unluckiest hitters in baseball: Jansen #3 Smoak #5 Vladdy #15 (.371 xwOBA)
  23. Yeah we'll start the draft at the signing deadline. Cutdown will be July 11th at midnight or something like that.
