If Goldbull and TRM are okay with it we could switch one of their draft slots so everybody picks 2 assets at a time from here on out. It would speed things up and I don't see why it matters anymore. So 146 Goldbull would swap with 150 TRM, and so on down the sheet.

For every Jason Hammel or whoever who signs a minor league deal, there is a corresponding young player who is given an opportunity. I don't really understand why people care so much about the volume of MLB players from 2018 who are free agents. Sure, it is the pits to see stars and solid (projected) MLB players not get signed, but they will eventually all get signed.
