  1. It's hilarious how many Paddack scouting reports just put a tepid 55 or 60 on his changeup. Grow some pubes and put an 80 on it, you cowards! Here is the average Chris Paddack scouting report from 2016-2018 "Low to mid-90s fastball with good command/control. Changeup shows good bite and can be an out pitch. Curveball is inconsistent but can show good shape. Repeatable delivery and decent frame but some durability concerns. This is a #4 SP profile, thanks to the strength of the three pitch mix and command profile" When the actual scouting report is... "60+ FB with excellent command and control. Changeup is at least a 7, might be an 8. Those two pitches alone (and the command) make him a mid-rotation starter. Breaking ball is usable as a third pitch. If he can stay healthy, this is a front-line MLB starting pitcher."
  2. They are both on my garbage LOD team so yes, I saw. I'm not talking about stats though - I'm looking at Urias' stuff. Sitting 95 (touching 97) from the left side with that off speed stuff and that command - it's bonkers.
  3. Wow. Julio Urias looks like, I dunno, the best pitcher in baseball right now?
  4. Blue Jays entire outfield: 5 hits (all singles) in 62 PA Dwight Smith, Jr., Baltimore Oriole: 6 hits in 16 PA.
  5. I kind of liked Bengie, Buck, and Zaun. Coco Cordero is good one ^.
  6. The Kevin Mench + Brad Wilkerson experience on the 2008 team is worth mentioning. Woof.
  7. I think Maizer Izturis is the saddest Blue Jay ever. But yes, Arencibia and Tallet had basically no redeeming qualities. At least Hill and Pillar come/came with really good memories.
  8. Pillar has more harmless pop-ups in the first three games of this season than Joey Votto probably has in the last decade

The NHLs playoff format is a crime against sports humanity. Almost as bad as NFL overtime rules
  10. Khrush of f***ing Kourse
  11. Yes. Technically he will be arb-4. Super 2 player!
  12. Did you just take credit for boosting Roster Resource to fame? I think RR has plans to monetize and seriously neuter the free version, which f***ing blows.
  13. They got $1M in international child trafficking import funds for Kendrys. Nice.
  14. It makes sense to be more hyped for Hiraldo or Orelvis Martinez, I guess the fact that we kind of expect those guys to be good makes it harder to put them into the helium or sleeper categories. They could be helium guys though if you think they are going to vault to top 100 prospect status this year.

  19. He'd have to absolutely crater for sending him down to not be a disaster PR move
  20. Saturday the 13th or Sunday the 14th? I might be interested
  21. Yahoo do something that makes any sense? In my small keeper league our auction was after the games in Japan. It's h2h. For some reason Yahoo is currently displaying and counting the points from keeper players in the first week h2h matchups, but not the points for auction purchased players. Go figure! In other words - the auction ended and various teams were immediately losing or winning their week 1 matches.
  22. Bring me Daniel Straily IMMEDIATELY.
