    I am NOT liking the probable pitchers I see vs KCR Taillon, Scherzer, Spaghetti Blech Will need the bats to come alive They should absolutely use the 10th (off day) to skip Spaghetti. Do this: Taillon (9th) 10th off 11th Scherzer 12th Cease 13th Soriano Ceasiano would be on normal rest and those are both Baltimore games. That would also line Ceasiano to both pitch against Texas the following weekend, and Cease would also start the final game against Baltimore on the 23rd and following that if they make the playoffs he would be on full rest for the WC.

    SOMETIMES this is misleading as dudes will have different finishes for different pitches, even though they are on sync until delivery on those various pitches. Like a follow through queue for how they throw the curveball, etc.

    Toronto wraps up the Cleveland series today and then it's six against KC and the Athletics before they face Baltimore. Need to somehow not play down to KC and "Oakland." They CANNOT lose either of those series. Must win today and then at least win 4 of 6. Meanwhile, Baltimore enters a season defining gauntlet beginning tonight. Boston for 4, then Cleveland and Toronto. And their schedule to end the season after that is hard - the Mets (only easy one) and then Milwaukee, Toronto, and the Yankees. Yikes! I think, even though Baltimore is tied with Toronto, we should want them to play well against Boston and take 2 games so they go into the Cleveland series with confidence and hopefully win that series. And then we bank on Toronto simply winning the head to heads against Baltimore, and/or Baltimore getting stomped later on by those tough remaining opponents.

    Love this guy but this doesn't seem like an MLB starter's mechanics, really. Can't see this holding up for deep outings or long seasons.

    Eric Lauer got rocked and is now on the IL with elbow soreness Classic E Lau to not take responsibility for being bad and to instead lie about being hurt. Pathetic

    Yeah good point He got greedy Could have gone Fisher, Flu, Rogers, Varland for the final five innings I'm sure. I expected Rogers to get more 2 inning outings this year.

    Will lock this, likely for good, if they lose tonight OR tomorrow. If they win tonight AND tomorrow, this is never getting locked.

    I'm still mad about using Mantiply in a 2-1 game. That's leverage. You need to try and win every game. They had a day off on Monday. It's not early June. Should have used Fisher and Fluharty at least, even if you didn't want to burn Rogers and Varland without a lead. Mantiply didn't earn the right to come back and immediately be considered a leverage reliever. Dude was cheeks last year and only twirled like, 12 good innings for Toronto before getting hurt.

    Big said Sean Keys isn't getting in there in LF I guess they think Myles Straw is "hot" as far as he ever gets hot and he might punch a single through at some point

    Sounds like Jose Rodriguez is another "bad fastball" guy Braydon Fisher, sort of Except the 6"6" version who looks like a freaking daddy long legs coming at you and throws a changeup

    I guarantee they try it He is 32, not 36 He was a bad but not atrocious outfielder before I will not guarantee that it will be pretty or work at all but if he can play 81 games there or whatever it opens up a lot more for the roster, offensively. Sean Keys etc.

    Next year the minor league P depth should be exciting Nolan Perry and King will be possible debuts as well. Maybe Dasan Hill in relief if he sorts some things out

    Maybe Robert's ROS projections range from 93 to 104 wRC+ Cameron's from 84 to 104 Steamer and ZiPS both favour Cameron, offensively! shocking, but true

    Jazz contributes in a lot of ways and is so much younger. Suzuki has higher bust potential.

    The dichotomy is false. Just handle him like Spencer Miles, in and out of the rotation, 3 IP at a time, in 2027. I am very interested in that f***ing arm angle lmao. Toronto would have #1 and #2 in all of MLB I think. The most over the top motherf***ers in baseball.

    I am not giving him $180M that's for sure But I feel enough people hate him "inside baseball" i.e. institutional racism still exists and it will depress his value to a shocking degree Jazz is a better player but sort of like how Gleyber was never able to get a multi-year deal or how Josh Naylor didn't even get a $20M AAV On the other end of things, teams might see him as a special talent and that might elevate him to a stupid contract like what Bo Bichette got from the Mets or almost got from Philadelphia. No thanks to that. Toronto has money coming off the books, if Jazz could be had on a more reasonable 5 year deal or maybe a more sober version of the high AAV ******** Bo signed, I would be very intrigued. And of course on a one year pillow deal even for like $30M, I am in.

    His market will probably be irrationally depressed because people "don't like his antics" or whatever Also batting average I am all over him. Perfect solution. Good baseball player.
