  1. oh oops. well, something similar like 4th for two 5ths or whatever
  2. Want one more garbage pick. Will move 5-10 for two 6 rounders this year
  3. Yes it does. Only "problem" is people can draft prospects that won't fit on their minor league roster but that's not a huge deal, they'd just have to hold or cut later.
  4. This seems really good. Those sections of the 500 level don't fill up anyway, and they would not if you have to show vaccination proof. In the playoffs they filled up, sure.
  5. Okay, that works too. NHL cuts post-draft.
  6. Commissioner will have to drop 2 players for me. It says I cannot while the draft it going on. Miles Wood and Casey Mittelstadt
  7. do we know / remember if my big league roster needs to be legal for the draft to work or does that not matter and i can make cuts there later on?
  8. I actually agree with you. A beaning is warranted here.
  9. These are American references. It would vary state to state but I don't think any states just have a basic "finders keepers" principle as the law. The cases are probably interesting. The way it works with stuff like this is that you have your general principle and then exceptions. E.g.: - Trash put to the curb is deemed abandoned - Chattels you leave in a house when you sell it or move out are deemed abandoned
  10. Theft by finding occurs when someone chances upon an object which seems abandoned and takes possession of the object but fails to take steps to establish whether the object is genuinely abandoned and not merely lost or unattended.[1] In some jurisdictions the crime is called "larceny by finding" or "stealing by finding".[2][3] If the owner has renounced all property rights in the object, then the property is abandoned.[1] Since theft is the unlawful taking of another person's property, an essential element of the actus reus of theft is absent.[2] The finder of lost property acquires a possessory right by taking physical control of the property, but does not necessarily have ownership of the property. The finder must take reasonable steps to locate the owner.[1] If the finder shows that reasonable steps to find the owner have been taken then the finder may establish that the required mens rea for theft, the intention to deprive the owner permanently, is absent.[2]
  11. Robbie Ray is proof that tighter suit = tighter command
  12. indeed. I mean the Springer injury stuff has been pretty bad but that's one guy and he has been able to contribute
  13. It was a weird game from Manoah. He was walking guys and losing the zone but it never felt like he was in extreme danger. Effectively wild, sort of?
  14. No, half that probably. 30 pitches would be a lot. He's opening for Stripling I assume. Two clean innings would be a dream come true.

  16. Natural throwing errors are up and away (ball slips out) or down and in (hang on too long). Connor's is in an unnatural direction. On purpose!
  17. Phelps - catastrophic injury Yates - catastrophic injury Merryweather - chronic injuries, nearly a lost season Pearson - chronic injuries, nearly a lost season Borucki - injuries / performance, non-factor Chatwood - performance / sticky stuff decline Dolis - performance decline Castro - semi-serious injury for months Romano - mild arm injury earlier Mayza - mild arm injury earlier Stripling - two stints on the IL
  18. Right, the plan was always: - hold serve against TB by winning at least 3 of the 6 - beat up on MIN + BAL all month - hurt the Yankees
  19. no sweat joey wendle is a little nerd, he could never have done it
  20. i can't get over that ball 1 call to Choi.
  21. Joe West was sitting fastball on that first pitch.
  22. ________ |-----------| |-----------| |----------[x] <---- that pitch was not a strike (Richards) |-----------| |-----------| |________|
  23. ________ |-----------| |-----------| |-----------| |-----------| |-----------| ........ [x] <---- that pitch |________|
