    There are a hundred little things you could point at. What if Biggio was even remotely useful? What if Brad Hand is remotely useful after being acquired? What if ONE OF Phelps, Yates, Merryweather, or Pearson did not get hurt? What if they came back to the Rogers Centre like two series earlier?

    Current Standings: NYY: +2 BOS: (2nd spot) SEA: -0.5 TOR: -1 Expected results going forward: NYY: 2-3 [92 wins] --> we would expect them to lose once to Toronto and twice to TB BOS: 3-2 [91 wins] --> decent chance to go 4-1 but you would never expect that even against bad competition. Odds would say 3-2 more likely. TOR: 3-2 [90 wins] --> expect them to lose one to NYY and one to BAL SEA: 2-2 [90 wins] If Toronto can go 4-1 then I like their odds to end up tied with either NYY or BOS for the second spot.

    It's kind of weird the batters aren't yet looking at pitcher cheat sheets, in their helmets, in the middle of PAs. Anyway, completely agree. The Rays would try to signal everything from the dugout still but the players are dumb so at least they would f*** up more often.

    That's why it will be embarrassing. Rays B team will roll the Yankees. Joey Wendle will hit four homers in three games, while playing barefoot. Wander Franco will hit a solo two run homer. Shane Baz will strikeout Brett Gardner with a look. McKay will pitch five scoreless with his right arm.

    Not ideal but I still don't hate their chances. Yankees will get embarrassed by the Rays to close out the season and the Sox will get Soto'd and lose 2 of 3 to Washington. I also think Boston will get Santander'd in the face and lose one to Baltimore. Red Sox - 91 wins Sweeping the Yankees would be awesome but 2 of 3 could also work.
