    Completely agree with Grant Imagine this scenario - you live in a city where public funds have been used to build the stadium. You already pay $80/mo or whatever for cable or satellite. Now multiple hometown team games per season are paywalled on Apple TV and you can only watch them legally by subscribing to your 7th paid streaming service. At what point do you just give up and watch girls do bathtub trivia on Twitch all day, every day?

    Family streaming service swapping is fun I pay for Prime My parents pay for Netflix and Crave My brother pays for Disney+ My brother-in-law pays for Apple TV My sister pays for nothing. Freeloader.

    I think that's fine Most players can't bounce around like that without increasing their error/fumble rate significantly and that would negate the benefits And for the most part that would happen between hitters, not between pitches

    not sure i would frame it like that but range becomes more valuable particularly for 3B and 2B; you might see some slight changes over time in how teams use those positions. becomes harder to hide a slower infielder at 2B like you can with shifting right now.

    Defensive skills (range) would also matter more because teams could no longer cover so much with positioning. The days of a 2B needing to be a good infielder may be back No more Mike Moustakas etc. as a 2B...

    "banning the shift" could mean a spectrum of things some of them would be gross some of the lighter versions might not be so bad like if the rule was "must have 3 and only 3 outfielders at all times and two infielders on each side of second base" would it really be that bad? say outfield = starts the play on outfield grass. teams could still basically shift the infield if you imagine the SS lining up right behind 2B; it would just kill that deep shift against lefties where the infielders starts in shallow RF

    I don't think he was banned. The f***head probably get killed or incarcerated. He's extremely antisocial. I don't mean introverted, I mean he likely does not fit into society in an agreeable way.

    Yeah Bregman projects better in basically every way. Moncada good in OBP leagues, he could be a top 10 3B easily in those.

    Hard to tell from that angle but Zulueta's FB seems to have a lot of two seam action

    yeah I could see him being a 7th SP or decent reliever if he can become some sort of spin king and hit like 93+ in short bursts
