    Manoah Gausman Stripling on the road vs Gausman Stripling Berrios/Bullpen at home Imagine the smell though if they do this then lose the WC round with Manoah never throwing a playoff pitch. And it's not even like you are choosing one vs the other, you can still win game 162 without Manoah.

And probably some RP I guess, I dunno. But this is a playoff team in 2023 if they get half-decent luck.

    A lot of the Phillies baserunners late in the game were lucky Even the winning hit was pathetic lol. It could have easily been a one hopper right to the pitcher, double play. Change the launch angle a tiny bit and that's the result.

    Cimber has 3 HBP in September alone. 7.2 IP 5 K 3 HBP 2 BB 1 HR FIP 5.46 xFIP 5.70 Obviously it's a small / meaningless sample size but he has not looked good this month. Seems to have lost his release point or something. He's kind of all over the place. But with the playoff race as boring as it is I guess you just keep throwing him out there, so he figures it out

    7-5-2 for BTS Categories in play Hits (tied) Homers (tied) OBP (decent 0.040 edge for JB) SLG (decent 0.031 edge for JB) Holds (+1 for JB) RBIs and Runs are borderline. BTS has an 8 RBI and 8 Run lead, hard to catch but not impossible. I don't think any other category is in play. All the pitching ratios + Wins and Ks are heavy in BTS' favour and he also has significantly better SPs lined up between now and Sunday. What does this mean? BTS has the tiebreaker so I think this means JB needs to win Hits and Homers and then pray for huge surge in RBI. There is no other conceivable path to JB winning.

    I don't think so. It's an abstraction - think of it like a positional adjustment. We first just need an accurate and holistic measurement of what the extra roster spot is worth (this is extremely hard if not impossible) Then you apply that figure to Ohtani. Because he unlocks that potential value.
