  1. Only silver lining with Manoah is that creeping ligament damage may explain the loss of stuff before 2023 Maybe tiny chance that when he returns he's 2022 Manoah again.
  2. Much more to work with with Clement and his MLB sample remains pretty small and unstable anyway
  3. Do you have eyeballs? Hit tool, defensive tools
  4. Has been better doesn't mean is better Clement is clearly more talented than Biggio
  5. Vogelbach has had good PAs all year Biggio is just a total loser!!!!
  6. Hope it's Biggio getting the boot. Or maybe traded to Oakland and part of the deal is Toronto had to fly him there so Oak saves $1000 on the ticket? Clement just has better tools and upside. Hit tool is good. Some defensive chops and speed (ignore the recent yips...)
  7. BNS earlier today said he wouldn't be surprised if Horwitz was called up for Oakland Who knows what the corresponding move would be. Biggio gone?
  8. Zero Shane Baz can't get his stuff back Jack Eflin is back to his Phillies form McLanahan is a September relief option maybe Rasmussen is a four and dive fringe long reliever Joffrey Springs is Joffrey Springs These guys will all have setbacks anyway because the Rays don't care about their players
  9. 3.5 games back with 100 games to go Nobody from KC down to HOU is obviously better than Toronto on paper The playoffs will be easy to make
  10. Only you two f***nuggets would spin freaking Izzy Kinder Falaffle actually being a good signing into something negative
  11. It's a little self fulfilling though innit If you suck then your opponents are more likely to be or become "above .500 teams"
  12. Brandon League! Well, Toronto Brandon League. I think he was identical to Pop. He found a splitter after leaving Toronto and had those good years.
  13. Pop over Pearson? Noooooooooooo I know Pop has pitched okay but he has a 5.95 FIP right now and is missing no bats. He probably sucks. Pearson has a better FIP than Green and Richards and the best Stuff+ after Romano. I'd probably say he is #4 right now, and will be #5 when Romano comes back. I can't jump him over Green and Richards yet but there are arguments in his favour.
  14. What do we think of Nate Pearson now? He might be their #2 or #3 RP at the moment lol
  15. Absolutely old school way would be some kind of template, bullet points and just stick to it new school, use AI lol
  16. Yeah they need to either staff up or pivot. Writeups for even the top 10 org prospects don't need to be as long as they make them unless the player is uniquely interesting. Outside the top 10, some bullet points would be completely fine. Most people are more interested in the grades and objective information than the colour and player context anyway. Example from their 29th ranked Marlins prospect. Their text: My version that would convey the same info:
  17. smaller bat might cause lower EVs but I don't see how it could or would cause decreased FB distances vs the EV.... what a f***show hire a f***ing physicist you dumb org
  18. “I think damage is kind of a scary word,” Mattingly said
  19. That kind of HR is the thing Vlad should be able to do like 10 times a year I know it was a s***** hanging cutter from a minor league trashbird rookie but it was still on the black and he almost always just slaps that into the ground good sign!
  20. Damn I thought Cade Povich would have better stuff He's like, 91mph poo
  21. we will find out later in Vlad's career that he was corking his bad or something super dumb and that was ruining the trajectory
  22. IKF is just the last thing to even complain about from the offseason. I don't even understand why his name keeps coming up. He is a 29 year old with good bat control, surprisingly decent maxEV, elite 3B defense and positive baserunning. So easy to justify the signing unless you are a Yankees fan. The worst decision was probably KK. $10M to an injury prone 34 year old with mediocre-at-best plate discipline, when the roster already had an elite CF.
