He's a scary one. Also initiates trunk rotation while his PAS forearm is still horizontal + his second toe is >1cm longer than his big toe. Both of those are huge mechanical red flags.

If I didn't sort of kind of run this stupid league I probably would. You agree that it's lame as f though, right? I mean, just f***ing accept or reject it... even if you say "Changed my mind, I can't do it right now", then that's fine. If you double change your mind you can offer it back.

Maybe the increased HR and K rates have something to do with each other. Too many strikes? Different pitch mix that has more variance in result?

Two more HR against for Shields. 5.06 FIP, 2.89 xFIP. 12.10, 2.63 are the ratios. Tipping his fastball (or something like that), or just a small SS? 51+ innings is small, but not tiny.
