  1. Lol..
  2. Fair enough, but it's the dialogue in which the responses are made of is not necessary , especially the snarky sarcasm.
  3. Nice post DDG. I don't think comparing their A and AA numbers can be accurately applied when assessing Thole and Goins (or any two hitters ) at the MLB level. It's a decent base to start from but players change or can change from those levels, either for the better or worse,or stay the same. I think we'll just have to wait for a larger SS in the bigs before realizing Goins' potential. IMO, he'll be a better MLB hitter than Thole.
  4. Who the f*** are you to determine whether or not an opinion is dumb? An opinion is an opinion and should at least be respected initially. If you care to challenge the opinion in a respectful meaningful manner than do so. Stop acting like you guys are the know all that ends all.
  5. Three left handed bats from 7-9 against C.J Wilson?
  6. Wow,so there are adults on this board.
  7. Really? So confusing Goins and Pillar physically is something a smart person should not make, especially a baseball watcher. What bugs my ass is every time someone makes an opinion on something here, and if they are not part of the hive, they get ripped for no reason. Are you trying to tell me that Pillar and Pence have no physical similarities whatsoever? I didn't say they were twins ffs. When i was in Buffalo earlier this year,Pillar's physical demeanor reminded me of Pence, especially their bow legged leg structure and the way they run. Their quick swings are a little similar also. That's it. Can you imagine if i said that it's hard to differentiate Goins and Pillar physically? Lol..........
  8. Yeah because one is a left handed hitting slick fielding middle infielder weighing 170 lbs versus a right handed hitting corner outfielder who weighs 200 lbs. I guess their saber numbers look the same so to you they are identical. You're such a f***ing idiot, its unreal.
  9. Wow, no fooling a sharp shooter like yourself this morning eh Norman? How about comparing their running, throwing and the way they swing the bat? Did that comparison aspect ever dawn on you? Too quick to check their physical sizes and make a quick, knee jerking statement. Why the f*** would I compare physicalities between the two, just because they're the same height and weight? Get a grip before you talk s***.
  10. I'm comparing their defensive play ONLY. Obviously Goins will never have the bat Alomar had. The Pillar / Pence comparison was not statistically driven, more of a physical comparison. Pillar has been in the bigs for only a month.
  11. He's hit the ball hard all night. Avoid extra base hits? You're a f***ing moron.
  12. Wtf? Sierra could of caught that if he charged it.
  13. Probably thought Pillar was the third out.
  14. Because we had the likes of Bonifacio, Izturis and DeRosa there before Goins? Contradict much?
  15. I'm sure Goins can bring that kind of defense in any month of the year.
  16. What made you decide to post that quote in this particular thread right after he looked great in his last AB? I was out of town this weekend and didn't get a chance to see any highlights. What a f***ing defensive clinic Goins put on Sunday afternoon, and you laughed when I said he reminds me of Roberto Alomar in the field? Directed at King BTW.
  17. Goins was f***ing robbed. Nice looking swing, that ball was scorched.
  18. Buehrle not locating tonight, and when you throw in the mid 80's,well you know..
  19. OMG, Pat will never let us forget this. Nice bunt though..
  20. Refreshing to see the new two strike approach from Lawrie, although his hands look a little too active still with less than two strikes. I wonder what his two strike average is in the past two months.
  21. Nice to see a plan in that AB. Another year of seasoning could see him start in CF come 2015,with Rasmus in left.
  22. Been out of town for the past four days and came back to see this thread still rocking the leader boards.
