Nit pick much? He's a career .285 hitter and hit .299 last year. His bat is not a prototypical one at first,but if there is enough power in the rest of the line up,he's a good fit. The only reason his career average isn't higher is because the Dodgers tried to turn him into a hitter that he is simply is not and was glad to gtfo of there. He hits a lot of doubles and has a high baseball IQ,just the type of infusion this team needs. He's a top five glove at first easily. So tell me again what doesn't matter.
