Not that it matters but it was after 4 ST games,not innings. Secondly, Goins will provide the best internal value at 2B, regardless on how he hits. Lastly.. "Three times this spring. I'm not saying i'm a genie,but from what i see,his pitch count will be up for the most part. I'll gladly eat my words if he proves me wrong,just stating my opinion. No point arguing at this point. Let's get at least 10 of his starts to digest first." So whats the problem here?

Fun times. Nothing beat those weekday night games at the Ex. By the fifth inning, all the drunks were sitting above our dugout drilling the f*** out of players if they f***ed up. I remember Dave Collins almost jumping in to the stands if it weren't for someone pulling him back into the dugout. You don't see s*** like that anymore. Those were the best times. -
Other than last year,his minor league stats aren't that bad, so i don't know wtf you are talking about. Also the situation could be different this year with Seitzer. I'm not saying he will succeed, but he has to be given a few months. The only reason he's getting a shot is because of the shut down defense he brings and AA's unwillingness to spend on an upgrade. Just sit back and let it play out.

Yeah, giving a situation the proper amount of time for results to be accurate would be something totally illogical. By your accounts, Goins can currently have back to back 3 for 4 games with a few doubles mixed in and suddenly transform to himself to the top of the statistical heap.

If Goins is really bad offensively after a few months, AA has to entertain trade possibilities for Franklin ( if he is still available ). There is no chance AA signs Drew, none.

With the Leafs and the Raptors also playing this afternoon, it would be a waste of money for Rogers to broadcast this game. If the Orioles were broadcasting the game,there would a decent chance Rogers would pick up their feed and air it on one of their stations.

I think the Leafs game was probably was re-assigned to SN from SN1 or Leafs tv. Jays game gets cancelled. The Raptors game is also on at 1pm on SN1. Don't forget about the intense curling action going on..

I agree in trying to figure out a way to keep Sierra, but Melky in CF, even in a pinch is scary. The eight man pen is f***ing things up, but i don't blame AA with a starting rotation like this. I'd rather let Bautista or Goins play CF in a pinch. Santana really f***ed us because if he signed, we could of went with a seven man pen and have Gose on the bench. We need Gose's late inning pinch running and defense. f***.
