400 PA batting ninth is equivalent to about 100 games. Anything under that isn't sufficient enough playing time,especially for a rookie who projects to have a wRC+ in the low 60's. Agreed?

Signing Santana and giving Hutch the #5 spot would be ideal. Early on the #5 spot can be skipped to save IP from that spot with four off days in April. -

The only reason i'm not rooting for Happ is that we have better internal options equating to a better overall team. There are no better internal options better than Goins, plus you got to love his defense.
