Yeah he has base running speed. He doesn't possess that first step base stealing type speed though.

He'll hit ninth for sure,he's got decent speed. That should help him see some early count fastballs.He just needs to learn and recognize and maybe,just maybe, he'll be an average bat.

He's defense is a guarantee. IMO, he's a top 5 defensive second baseman.

Not addicted, just sticking to my opinion that Goins is our best internal option at 2B with an outside shot of having an average bat. He has the physicalities, with him it's recognition at the plate. Hopefully it will click for him with Seitzer and more PAs. Attack those 1-0 fastballs kid.

Where did i say i support AA's incompetence? I just stated that if there is only an x amount of dollars available to spend, i'd rather spend it on two starting pitchers than spend it on a second baseman. We have a decent enough offense to carry an all defensive position while adding to starting pitching. As far as Darvish is concerned, i provided a quote i made, with great thanks btw for digging that up. What more do i have to say? I WAS WRONG ABOUT DARVISH. Do you think it bothers me to admit when i'm wrong? Maybe that's the difference between yourself and many others here. I view and project the game different from most of you on here, mainly because of the age difference. So i have to be hated for having an opinion? Hate Goins all you want, i don't give a f***. Can't i state that i think Goins has a shot at developing into an average bat and not get crucified for it?
