  1. True, but you have to consider having the player leave on a positive note with good numbers to support the feeling, thus building on his next outing.
  2. Everyone and their grandmothers know Redmond has a 70-80 pitch ceiling before he starts getting lit up. We saw it last year and this year will be no different. Rogers has the ability to be effective for a longer period. Redmond long man, Rogers starts and send Happ down.
  3. This is how a positive mentality can be extinguished.
  4. Redmond has hit his 5 inning ceiling and should have never started this inning imo. Mismanaged.
  5. Hah.. Who could imagine an org guy can turn out to be a viable starter. Lol..
  6. If Rogers does well in his next start, he has to get the starting job. Redmond will suit us better as a long man.
  7. What worries me is that Redmond has to have exceptional command to be effective, where Rogers can get away with more mistakes.
  8. This good start from Redmond so far worries me. He has no business being in the starting rotation,as it should be given to Rogers to start the year. Redmond looks like he can be an effective long man ( reminds me of Dennis Lamp ),which is extremely important this year for us. Rogers just has much better stuff.
  9. As of right now, Rogers has to be the favorite for the last SP spot.
  10. Justice was served there, Ruiz with a check swing over the first base bag.
  11. Goins made that hard hit ball up the middle look easy. Just saying..
