I dont usually get into the fire the manager, because fans have no control. But this guy has probably lost at least five games with poor management . His bullpen management is disgraceful. Time for him to go. Surely Shatkins can see this.

There seems to be a lot of new posters on this board that take great joy in telling us all how bad the Jays are and they knew it all along. How about a little positivity. Considering all the injuries, they are doing quite well, considering it is only May.

I got my shot on Monday, Tuesday I couldnt move my arm and wed, nausea and temp. The second shot is supposed to be worse, so if players have been getting their second shot, not surprised.

If the season is as good as this game, we are in for a great one.

A friend, just young (28) fell and broke her shoulder. Her own dr. Prescribed opioids, and they werent really helping her, so he told her to increase dosage. Her and hubby went out for dinner, she had a glass of wine and went to bed and never woke up. Two little girls with no mother, because she didnt know about having wine when she was on painkillers. Mistakes are easily made and I hope for Skaggs family that is what this was.

My hubby was what you guys would categorize as old, 68 when he DIED, and I can tell you that it pisses me off when people say, he passed away. He didnt quietly drift off as if he was floating away. He DIED as in DEAD. And I absolutely hate it when I hear that term. but that is just me. But in the end to each his own.

So far this year attendance is down by almost 30 %. They didnt even sell out opening day and they had an announced attendance on April 1 of 10,460. This will not get better when they trade away stroman sanchez and smoak. We might not be in the bottom ten right now but we most certainly will be. You can call it anything you want, but these are figures , not s***.

It is not utter nonsense that the Jays attendance figures have dropped since Shatkins took over. Those teams that you think are surviving on the Jays figures are not taking in Canadian dollars and paying out in american, a differrence of 30% And you think that attendance will pick up this season with the team that is taking the field each night. Hardly.

Being embarrassed does mean something. It means the next time those "casual" fans as everyone calls them, decide whether they will spend their money to see a game they will remember the beat downs that have been going on this season. Losing is one thing, being trounced constantly is another. A major league team can not survive on the attendance figures they are posting right now. And for the jays to win 100 games two years from now, will be the miracle of all miracles.

I didnt like the Shapiro hiring at the time and said so. So far in year 4 this is the worst team I ever remember watching. He has traded away what assets we had, for not much, whether that is due to inury or his waiting too long to move. This team cant hit, certainly cant catch the ball and,other than Stroman, there is not a pitcher that starts that anyone can look at and think, we have a chance to win the game. Sanchez has an attitude problem, calls out his teammates with no repercussions, and takes the mound with a sullen attitude. There is a manager that seems like he was hired because he had a great deal of knowledge of stats etc, but doesnt use them. They bring up a kid who no doubt will be terrific but put him in a position that he couldnt possibly live up to the hype. The farm system is rated third but exactly when will all those players actually start to make their way to the majors, in what year. And where is the pitching. Ok, so the team will have money to go out and buy pitching, but how many free agents will come to T.O. The outfield is embarassing. Grichuk is given a long term contract for what so far has been mediocre results. We had that in Pillar. Yes, they are rebuilding, but the Yankees managed a rebuild without putting an embarassing team on the field. Other than Vladdy, who on this team that should be a sure thing. In all my years, and they are many, there has never been a time when I would turn off the game and walk away because I didnt like the team, even JP Ricciardi ‘s teams. But this year it happens more and more. Fans will go along with rebuilds but they have to be able to look forward and see the future, and if Shapiros promise is three or four more years away, the fans wont be there. Looked at the attemdance so far, it is sinking to expo levels and it isnt going to be better in August. This is just my opinion, and I know that it is the odd man out on this board, but Shapiro and company will be fired before the end of 2020 if there is not significant progress

Vladdy is being treated as if he is babe ruth incarnate. I have never seen so much hype. I sure hope Montoya and the Jays will do everything they can to protect this very young star from the inevitable ups and downs of playing in the majors. With that said can hardly wait for his debut.
