I understand his frustration, its a rough combination of his talents declining and the game/analytics changing. He gets a big 24 million dollar contract in the offseason which puffs up his ego a bit, so he thinks he’s entitled to pitch 7 innings like old times. But the talent isn’t where it used to be, the game is changing, and he can’t keep up.
He’s looking at it from the wrong perspective IMO, his thought process SHOULD be “hey this team is paying me a lot of money and they have it in their best interest to get the best possible production out of me, so I’ll do whatever they need me to do”. Instead his ego is controlling the conversation.
