    I think they’ll get there. Pearson will be better next year. Should be able to find at least one useful starter between Hatch/Merryweather/Kay. Stripling at the back of the rotation will work. The FO should have their sights set on signing at least a #2 starter type this offseason to complete the rotation.

    Would feel a lot better if they win today's game. That would put them at 3-3 against the Yanks this season. Then we have 4 games against them in Buffalo... i'd be happy if they split that series. Really, i'd be happy if they went 6-6 for the rest of the season.

    Pretty sure they’ll be fine. They’d have to have an epic 2011 Redsox-esque meltdown to miss the playoffs. But I doubt they get past the first round.

    I have no delusions about the fact that the Yankees are a far better team. Jays don’t stand much of a chance in the playoffs anyways. I think they’ll still make it but I can’t really see them beating any of the other teams. Will be nice for the youngins to get some playoff experience though

    His July and August stats are excellent, but he's been cold as f*** since September hit. He's just a streaky guy, but im happy he's still been able to keep his K numbers down through this cold streak. Its weird, he goes through these long periods where he doesn't get any extra base hits, then he'll have a few weeks where he smashes homers every game. I don't think he's hit a homerun in like 3-4 weeks.
