    What’s wild is that this dude is a young 1B with a build like Prince Fielder. A 32 year old Prince Fielder with degenerative spinal issues wasn’t even this bad of a slugger. I’d seriously love to know what actual “work” Vlad is putting in and what advice he’s getting. Putting in 20 hours a week of dumbass drills that aren’t helping

    Yeah i think most here would swap Tatis for Vlad in heartbeat. Would rather have a huge contract tied up with a speedy guy that can man the OF for years vs a slow 1B that has hit as his only useful tool.

    I was saying it was the immediately the worst contract in MLB the moment it was inked. Unfortunately it’s looking worse than I even thought lol. I also said its worth it if he goes beast mode in the playoffs like he did in 2025, but its really hard to see him ever repeating that

    It just really sucks to score 6 runs (7 if you count extras) and still lose with the way this offense has struggled all year. Gotta win the games when the offense can put up 5+

    Yeah I think he’s coasted on his natural talents to this point, and he’s not intelligent enough to make the necessary changes or tweaks to be great like Ohtani/Judge/etc.

    How about Springer? He’s pretty much a black hole. Vlad at least gets on base and has a decent average Springer aint worth clogging the DH spot and shouldn’t be hitting higher than 6th
