    1. I don’t think you can call Correa “one of the best defensive shortstops in baseball” any longer… 2. Have you heard of Francisco Lindor?? He’s a pretty damn good defender 3. Nobody forced Correa to sign with the Mets and switch positions??

    That’s totally fine, I don’t understand why so many people are up in arms about Kikuchi/White being the #5 to start the season.

    We have 1 outfielder signed past 2023, we have 4 rotation spots locked for the next several years. We can survive without another OF acquisition this year but absolutely need 2 new guys once 2024 rolls around. That being said im still not sure i’d give up Tiedeman for Reynolds… idk maybe. We said the same s*** about Pearson a couple years back. Prospects are prospects.

    Idk if you’re aware of the housing market these days but having an inspection as part of the deal usually means you won’t get the house. Plenty of people in line willing to do a blind deal with no conditions

    Honestly expecting Zaidi to step away/go to another team either this year or next. That Correa contract seemed like a huge mistep and I feel shows a disconnect between ownership and FO. Or Correa’s body is actually f***ed and Cohen is just a dumbass

    He has a stronger arm than Lindor/McNeil so it makes most sense to put him at 3rd

    This post is extremely confusing. Are we looking at the same Conforto?? Also how does signing Conforto make any difference for Moreno? I don’t get it

    AL East ballparks are a lot better for popping an extra 5-10 homers compared to the West, so that could be a factor. Plus we have a much better lineup overall. Toronto is probably a better place to sign if he wants a 1 year deal to build value. You don’t need to look any further than the Semien scenario.

    Trade 1 is realistic but feels like an overpay for us. Wouldn’t want to do that one IMO. Trade 2 seems kinda fair, maybe an overpay on AZ side?

    Yup. Springer/KK will likely be injured at some point this season, in which case Conforto/Gurriel play the corners every day.
