    Will be interesting to see the attendance numbers next year. Have to think a lot of the attendance for this season was tickets sold in the offseason. I’d assume ticket sales drop dramatically this offseason unless they make a huge splash like Soto or something similar.

    I say f*** the Braves/Dodgers/Yankees/Orioles/Astros For obvious reasons. Phillies winning would be alright, they got oh so close a couple years back. Brewers would be cool. Padres I feel like deserve it. They’re a solid team and they just seem to fall short of expectations each year. Would be nice if they finally won after shedding payroll while staying competitive in what most thought would a a “down year”. Cleveland winning would be nice too, they also came super close a few years back. Tigers/Royals meh, feel like they’re the Dbacks of 2024.

    Green Swanson Romano Burr Little and Cabrera are maybes The rest are disposable. 2 decent/solid additions would be nice.

    Mets and Braves series postponed due to weather, now they gotta play a doubleheader on the Monday after the season ends. Day before their potential wildcard game.

    Last year you played, your team finished 11th out of 20. That also comes with the asterisk of you managing 2 teams at once, and swapping players between both rosters when it was convenient. Blatant cheating. This year, the guy that took over your roster ended up finishing 18th. Not saying you would have finished that low but you’re not blocking anyone from winning with that roster.

    It just reminds me of the Hosmer WS play where he took home on that grounder to 1B to take the lead. A very stupid and risky play, normally he should be out but he got lucky and it’s praised as a “smart” play. I just dislike when players are rewarded from stupid baserunning, which happens a lot with guys like Elly and Duran because of elite speed. Its Vladdy brain but with faster legs.

    Im debating whether or not to make the trip downtown to catch a final game before the season ends. I’ve only been to a couple this year, normally go see 10+. Would like to get out one more time but the weather has been awful, not sure if its worth it.

    Duran is a great player but unbelievably stupid on the bases. Kinda like Elly DLC but they both have elite speed that makes up for most of the brainfarts.

    Interested to see if they let Sandanter walk, and if they make any splashes in free agency this offseason. There’s really no reason/excuse for them not to sign one of the A-list free agents.

    Yeah that’s pretty damning. Always interesting to hear about things that might be going ok behind the scenes and see that the numbers back it up. Like for example Vlad was pretty bad after he had his hand stepped on a couple years back at Yankee stadium. And Bo has been pretty bad since the calf/leg issues.

    Yup this would have been a nice year to not be s***. Seeming like the final AL wildcard spot will only take 85ish wins. Would be very funny if the O’s fell out of a spot too
