You should hear the clip, the slight back and forth between her and Shapiro is pretty funny. Seems like they do not like each other at all

    Double play would’ve been worse

I actually missed that he skipped his start. Makes sense I guess. We have an entire interview of Bassitt talking about team issues though so im not sure why this would be news.

Right, pretty much what im thinking too. Although she’s getting praised on Twitter because she “called out” Shapiro who everybody hates right now.

Do we believe this "quote" though if she won't reveal the source? Potential guys I could see this coming from are Bo... Springer maybe? Gausman maybe?? Im not sure who else could've said it.

If he was sitting changeup then why choke up on the bat tho?? Williams did make it very easy to hunt changeup though, since the fastball was all over the place.

2 elite closers in Williams and Hader both blew major games for their respective teams. Beisbol

The whole NL bracket is insane rn. Mets/Phillies Dodgers/Padres Like come on, both those series will be absolute bloodbaths. Love it.

Kinda dumb tho, Alonso is the ONE guy that could hurt you there. Probably should've pitched around him. I'd rather face Iglesias with the bases juiced

To be fair, we’ve seen plenty of cases where old/bad teams bounce back and have a great season the next year. Happens fairly often with the Redsox, Yankees, Giants recently, San Diego more recently, etc. However “hope” isn’t exactly a great strategy to employ. Although it looks like they’re deciding to run things back once again, so really all we have is hope. Unless they can somehow manage a savvy retool similar to the Padres.

I think you're just salty I beat you in BBDL

Luck became a part of baseball sometime around the early 2010s. Luckily, Shapiro and Atkins were able to use this to their advantage as a way to explain why the team hasn't done anything for the past decade.
