  1. Kikuchi + RP for Gavin Lux
  2. Flaherty was dogwater last year though, and for a season or two prior. Kikuchi is better than Flaherty when he was traded. Remains to be seen how teams will value a guy like Kikuchi as a lefty with great K numbers that could also be pushed to the bullpen if needed.
  3. Only up by 2 runs too IIRC. The IBB brought the game within 1. Balls of steel from Showalter there
  4. Would never ever happen in the MLB
  5. Right. I would expect our trades to look something more along the lines of Kikuchi for Anthony Kay.
  6. Im not really sure where you’re getting this from, Jansen seems like a good dude
  7. Entirely possible we wait things out, let Vlad test the waters in free agency, then just match whatever the highest offer is. Or exceed it slightly. Like Judge and the Yankees
  8. Didn’t even make the playoffs. Not nearly as good as the 2023/24 Os.
  9. Lol ain’t this twice this weekend you jinxed our starters
  10. Frustrating that this Bo/Vlad core has never had a team that looks as strong as the 2023-24 Os. I hate this sport sometimes
  11. Don’t forget, Aaron Judge was extremely close to leaving the Yankees. I don’t think its a certainty at all that Soto stays.
  12. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Mets and Dodgers go hard after Soto too
  13. He’s also supposed to be in his prime and helping us compete. Just a terrible scenario for both Bo and the team this year
  14. Not really their fault with Bo here
  15. Im glad that’s been put to bed, I don’t think he would’ve/should’ve been traded anyways with his numbers looking like they do
  16. Always great to see more Canadians being drafted. Hope these guys can go all the way and at least get a taste of the majors
  17. Also seeing Kirby Yates pitch an inning and K 2 in the game hurts.... f*** that dude. If he had pitched like even 2 games for us in 2021 we probably make the playoffs.
  18. Yup. Me watching the all-star game with my dad and when Mason Miller came out I was like "oh this guy throws over 100" then I realized, wait most of them throw 100 now lol.
  19. I'd trade Bassitt before i'd trade Vladdy or Bo. Its not such a bad thing to have 2 big players in a walk-year, maybe give them something to work harder for. Bo's value has to be at its absolute lowest right now. Doesn't really make sense to move him.
  20. Sean Manaea for 2/28 Jack Flaherty for 1/14 Seth Lugo for 3/45 Eric Fedde for 2/15 Luis Severino for 1/13 Sonny Gray for 3/75 Michael Wacha for 2/32 Lance Lynn for 1/11 Kyle Gibson for 1/13 Reynaldo Lopez for 3/30 That's plenty of great short-term deals for starting pitchers. Now, I get that not all of these pitchers fall under the "reliable innings-eater" category, but I think there's more than enough deals out there that could replace Chris Bassitt quite easily. Especially if you expect Bassitt's numbers to start declining soon. Don't forget, Berrios was supposed to be a "reliable" innings-eater too, yet the numbers he posted in 2022 and now 2024 are putrid.
  21. I agree, probably the best time to trade Bassitt. Don't think his value will be higher. He should be easily replaced in free agency, there's always deals like Gray, Wacha, Lugo, etc. to be had
