  1. You should hear the clip, the slight back and forth between her and Shapiro is pretty funny. Seems like they do not like each other at all
  2. Double play would’ve been worse
  3. I actually missed that he skipped his start. Makes sense I guess. We have an entire interview of Bassitt talking about team issues though so im not sure why this would be news.
  4. Right, pretty much what im thinking too. Although she’s getting praised on Twitter because she “called out” Shapiro who everybody hates right now.
  5. Do we believe this "quote" though if she won't reveal the source? Potential guys I could see this coming from are Bo... Springer maybe? Gausman maybe?? Im not sure who else could've said it.
  6. If he was sitting changeup then why choke up on the bat tho?? Williams did make it very easy to hunt changeup though, since the fastball was all over the place.
  7. 2 elite closers in Williams and Hader both blew major games for their respective teams. Beisbol
  8. The whole NL bracket is insane rn. Mets/Phillies Dodgers/Padres Like come on, both those series will be absolute bloodbaths. Love it.
  9. Wow that's a gut-wrenching loss for Milwaukee.
  10. Winker seems like such a **** lol
  11. Kinda dumb tho, Alonso is the ONE guy that could hurt you there. Probably should've pitched around him. I'd rather face Iglesias with the bases juiced
  12. Holy sheeeiittttt
  13. To be fair, we’ve seen plenty of cases where old/bad teams bounce back and have a great season the next year. Happens fairly often with the Redsox, Yankees, Giants recently, San Diego more recently, etc. However “hope” isn’t exactly a great strategy to employ. Although it looks like they’re deciding to run things back once again, so really all we have is hope. Unless they can somehow manage a savvy retool similar to the Padres.
  14. I think you're just salty I beat you in BBDL
  15. Luck became a part of baseball sometime around the early 2010s. Luckily, Shapiro and Atkins were able to use this to their advantage as a way to explain why the team hasn't done anything for the past decade.
  16. Im saying your previous sarcastic comment was ******** I guess asking *certain* posters here to not be complete morons is too much
  17. Ok... then you could reasonably say they were lucky to get 4 WAR from him correct?
  18. So what did the Padres expect from Profar
  19. Well are you saying Profar’s season is a fluke or not??
  20. There’s a difference between signing a negative WAR player to a 1-year deal and signing a player with multiple 4+ WAR seasons to a multi-year deal. Any multi-year deal will have risk involved Do you seriously think the Padres were expecting a 4 WAR year from Profar? Come on now.
  21. Yankees losing to the Royals would be S-tier amazing Ultimately, I want a Cleveland/SanDiego WS but it would be fun to see the Royals make it into the ALCS
  22. Realistically they only need 1 big bat to heat up. If either of Machado or Tatis go on a tear, that could sustain them all the way through. Merrill could carry them too, dude looks good right now smashing the ball
  23. Jason Adam lol. 3 pitches 2 runs. What is you doin bro
  24. Hallelujah. Was looking like Thursday might be an offday
