  1. Not the first time, I remember he popped off that time in 2020. 4 homeruns in that 5 game series vs the Rays. Yanks just fell short. Stanton is Mr. October
  2. Poop. Arenado strikes me as the type of guy that would veto a trade to Toronto, full stop.
  3. Maybe its the cold getting to these relievers? Bad grip on the ball?
  4. Clase been pretty fkn bad this October
  5. Another brilliant f***ing game so far in Cleveland
  6. Arenado trade could also work
  7. Sure they do. They can definitely make trades, just the farm will likely be bottom of the barrel if they choose to go that route. They’re in a tough spot
  8. These NLCS games have been so lopsided
  9. Yeah definitely a boring series there so far Incoming Mets comeback to take the series
  10. The fumble was not renovating/restoring sooner. If they had a spot ready to go maybe something could have been worked out for the Rays to play there…. There were talks of the Rays splitting time there about a year ago. But lets be honest Montreal probably isn’t ever getting a team. And I don’t know that they would support a team like the Rays that isn’t “their” team.
  11. They can’t, the field is a mess there. Under major renos apparently. Biggest fumble of all time by Montreal. This could have been the perfect scenario for a trial.
  12. Isn’t this exactly how AA operated in 2015??? Worked fairly well. Bring on the excitement
  13. Yeah Rays will likely play at one of the spring training facilities, possibly Yankees.
  14. I’ve heard Montreal can’t host, apparently the dome was partially scrapped this summer. Unplayable there
  15. Devers used to be “laughably bad” at 3B bit he’s stuck there for several years. Vientos will do the same unless he gets pushed out by a better 3B like Bregman. But I think the Mets will keep Alonso
  16. I wonder if the Rays could play in Oakland next year. I hear its wide open
  17. Except in this case, we don’t actually know how “well” the company did. You’re talking about money/revenue, which isn’t the same as the success of the team itself. For example, a box office success is not an indication of a GOOD movie, and a GOOD film being a box office loss doesn’t make share-holders very happy. On-field results and corporate/shareholder results are 2 different things.
  18. Could’ve had Teo for 3/50. Too bad our front office thinks adding a power bat is “low-hanging fruit”
  19. You really should be including Gab Moreno in this list too. He was fully developed when we sent him to AZ. Jury is still out on Manoah, but he looked like a stud for his first 2 seasons.
  20. Soto is a gold glove finalist for RF lollll Varsho up for CF, Clement for 3B. Varsho is up against Duran for the GG, looking like he’ll get snubbed again
  21. Right. Ownership that’s willing to pony up cash and not meddle with the front office immediately keeps us out of bottom 10. Mid-tier is completely fair Imo.
