Extending Vlad will fix the attendance 😂

Yeah fair enough, the Nimmo at bat should’ve been telling
  3. Stangstag
I think George himself will say he should’ve caught that.
  4. Stangstag
    Should’ve been caught
  5. Stangstag
Well that was misplayed terribly by Springer
  6. Stangstag
    f***in gross if true

Im sure the casuals will love it though! And surely they will buy more tickets now right? And they’ll continue to come even when the team sucks and has less payroll flexibility to improve the roster because we’re paying a 1B 40 million per year! Im sure they will still come to games!

And funnily enough, I don't think it will be their fault. There's just no way they would give out that type of contract to a player like Vlad. They aren't stupid. This has transcended team president level, and is likely being handled by ownership at this point. Vladdy will be this franchise's big "Arte Moreno" moment.

Gotta keep winning or else you lose

Could see the Marlins or Rockies too
  11. Stangstag
We still have 0 runs. I think if we were in the lead they probably go Little in that situation.

Lookin like Babe Schneider's cinderella story is over... might be out of the majors by the end of the year
  13. Stangstag
It isn't difficult to see both sides. I don't really like the move but at least its not an obvious blunder like Ubaldo over Zach Britton
  14. Stangstag
Barnes bout to put this game out of reach
  15. Stangstag
    yeah fair enough
  16. Stangstag
Hasn't worked well the past 3-4 years but they keep doing it. Its the front office MO
  17. Stangstag
Rookie cast into the goddamn fire lol
  18. Stangstag
Yeah neither can Devers. Release both
  19. Stangstag
yeah thats just a really good piece of hitting. Tip your cap
  20. Stangstag
damn that did not look like a homer off the bat
  21. Stangstag
Thats IF the Cubs don’t extend him first
  22. Stangstag
That’s honestly closer to his worth and realistically what he SHOULD get. And even then, he could easily end up as one of the most overpaid players in the league if he maintains the inconsistency
  23. Stangstag
I sincerely hope that he doesn’t come near the number the Jays just offered him, and I hope the next offer they table is 100 million less. I hope he never sees a contract starting with the number 5 ever again. Maybe then he’ll finally realize he isn’t as special as he thinks he is.
  24. Stangstag
    Its gotta be scripted right

Team has looked good, but to be fair we have faced mostly bad pitching so far. Need to see how these guys hit against better starters, and need Vlad and Tony to start hitting bombs
