    Yeah really the only questionable decision in the lineup. I like utilizing Springer in CF and that he’s hitting 6th. Love that they got Rodon and Wagner in there too.

    I was screaming last year about something being very wrong with the offense approach the past couple years, but people were saying i was wrong and overreacting. I won’t be gaslit anymore, Don Mattingly totally f***ed up our offense the last 2 seasons. Springer, Varsho, Kirk, Bo, etc all had their approach changed for the worse. Less whiffs but also less power.

    Just a quick glance back at your post history and found this: “Bottom line is Shatkins has botched the Vlad and Bo situation for years now. All of the blame lays on them. Can't blame the player for having a high asking price when they walk him straight to free agency” And now you’re complaining they extended Kirk (to a very reasonable deal) too early. You are allowed to have your opinion, and we are allowed to ridicule you for it.

    Athletics as a wildcard pick makes this an unserious post.

    It really feels like Guerrero is a massive landmine. I can’t see him coming remotely close to living up to whatever contract he signs. Only way it makes sense is if he takes a 300mil deal, which seems extremely unlikely at this point unless he has a terrible 2025.

    Vlad might be the most overrated player of the past decade, and we have the pleasure of being the team with the most pressure to sign our homegrown hero to a massive deal. The outcome of this Vlad situation could be disastrous

    Hard to be upset with this deal. I think Kirk has pretty much shown what his floor looks like, if the bat rebounds just a bit then this is an excellent extension. At the very least he provides solid D and serviceable bat at the Catcher position

    If he’s “durable” but has a bunch of nagging injuries (wrist and knee) that keep him from playing at an elite level, how is that a good thing?
