    Saunders actually hit LHP pretty well last year. His splits are pretty even. I'd rather have him playing everyday until he shows that he can't hit LHP

    Did you even WATCH the wildcard game? Lester choked that game. Anyways, Lester is the better pitcher but he will cost far more than Shields. Shields would be the better deal. We probably don't have the money for Lester anyways.

    Nah, im not scared of Melky on the Orioles. He's not THAT good of a hitter. He's obviously above-average, but he's not a game-changer

    Haha true. But when you think about it, we really don't need Morneau. The offence is damn good as-is, and Osuna is more important to this team. Plus Morneau costs more money which would cut into our James Shields/Jon Lester funds

    I think he would still be worth his salary until about the last year or two of his contract.

    He does have injury concerns, but he played 130 games in both 2012 and 2013
