Do these idiots not realize that we don't really need Duquette? Like there are many other options. If it come down to something like Norris for Duquette, we'll just f***ing hire someone else.
-
Kang is supposed to be a much better hitter. He is viewed as more of a 3B or 2B
-
Its alot like the Jays 2012 offseason
-
Jake Peavy signs with San Fran for 2/24 12 million a year for Peavy!? Jesus these pitchers are getting way too much money this year.
-
Jesus

It would be nice if we got SOMETHING of value for Navarro. I mean there has to be a GM out there that will overvalue Navarro's batting average and RBIs right?
-
They're signing him AGAIN??? Wow
-
Medlin would have been a nice signing at 2/8.5 Hopefully AA isn't sleeping
-
Santos to Texas was cancelled by Kinsler and his no-trade clause IIRC
-
Jesus. Its crazy how quickly Kemp has deteriorated. He had that 40/40 season just a few years ago.

Rays, Nationals and Padres Complete Big Three-Team Trade
Stangstag replied to TwistedLogic's topic in Toronto Blue Jays Talk
Pretty good trade for the Padres IMO -
Lol, terrible trade for the Rays. Padres got the best of this one.

Inb4 JFaS saying that we could get Souza for Ryan Goins +
-
What happened to "Meyers, the golden boy" Can't believe that Tampa wants to trade him. Their offense is pretty bad already, especially after trading away Joyce.
-
I think we DO need Shields. One injury to our rotation during the season and we are f***ED. Another starter would be nice.
-
Yeah I think part of this is just really bad luck. Guys like Snider, Arencibia, Romero, etc. just ended up flopping. They were all projected to be above-average all the way through AAA, but they all ended up sucking.

BRING BRANDON LEAGUE BACK TO TORONTO!!! cf
-
Lol oh god. People should do some research before they make tweets like that.
-
Toritani to San Diego confirmed
-
On the flip side, would he rather play in a place with beautiful beaches and weather, or a frozen winter hell? Jk, but who knows what his agent is saying.
-
I would be very pleased if we could get him for 1 year, 3/4 million with a team option. Allows us a stopgap at 2B while Travis develops, and if Toritani ends up being good then we can pick up the option. Win win imo.
-
I think he'd be worth at least 5 WAR if he got regular playing time
-
Hmm. Well this kinda sucks. I really wanted Lowrie, but I guess he was a bit out of our price range. I would rather improve our bullpen and rotation.
-
No... Lol yeah Zach Stewart DOES suck. What a bust.
