    Meh, a platoon of Pillar/Dirks is decent fof LF. 2B is a hole though, until Travis is ready to step in.

    Actually now that I think about it, AA probably traded Lind because of his constant injuries. Its looking like AA is getting rid of all the injury-prone players. I would not be surprised if we traded Reyes now.

    I completely agree with you. This lineup is strong enough that I don't think we need a TRUE DH kinda guy. DH should be split between Edwin/Reyes/Smoak/Navarro/whoever needs some rest

    I would say he signs Cabrera next. 3/40

    Cabrera 4th? Are you high? 4th is one of the most important spots in the batting order and will be occupied by one of Bautista/Edwin/Donaldson. If you REALLY want to split up the righties, Cabrera can hit 3rd.

    So just because its more money than you'll ever make, means he should settle for half of what he's worth? He would probably settle for 1Million if that was his only offer, but MLB teams think he is worth alot more than that, so they have to have a bidding war. Why shouldn't he accept a higher offer?

    Yeah if you trade for Bruce as more than a salary dump, you are taking a gamble.

    I would like to point out that Hanley has an attitude problem that could come into play in a year or two. He supposedly threw a hissy fit in Miami when he was playing 3B, saying that he wanted to play SS. This was AFTER Hanley offered to play 3B if Miaimi could sign Reyes. Then once Reyes took over SS, Hanley changed his mind

    Gotta admit, Boston's lineup is looking pretty nasty now. Pedroia Hanley Sandoval Ortiz Cespedes Napoli Craig Bogaerts Betts FUUUUCK. Their pitching is garbage though EDIT: Forgot about the Catcher... Probably swap Boogers for David Ross. Still that lineup is nasty

    Great signing for the sox, but Hanley still has injury and defense problems and that will only get worse as he gets older.

    Pretty sure we got rid of Lind because the FO didn't like his attitude. (He was calling out the FO on certain issues last year)

    Why? We don't really have a need at 1B/DH. We really need a 2B and LF
