  1. 1 IP and 2 ER from the closer isn’t good no matter how you slice it. But Jays should’ve scored more runs today.
  2. Still doesn’t change the fact that Varland blew it
  3. Definitely was influenced by the previous double plays, we’ve hit into a ton overall
  4. Dude barely throws strikes, just need to have semi-decent playe discipline
  5. That’s a classic BJs box score 6 hits - 1 run 5 hits - 3 runs
  6. If we go up and dont swing until 2 strikes Bednar will blow this game
  7. Missed the game but can someone explain how this loss is Schneider’s fault? What did i miss
  8. What a bum, cant believe he just gave up a homerun to a washed 38 year old
  9. Im actually shocked at the level of idiocy on this board not understanding that a catcher coming back from a thumb injury isn’t immediately playing 2 days in a row. Now you could argue about why Vlad isn’t in the lineup at DH, but that’s another case
  10. Most likely a scheduled offday after returning from injury. Chill bro
  11. He’s kinda like Aaron Sanchez with better stuff. If he can limit the walks he’s good
  12. Exactly, team had 9000 chances to add extra runs that game and to walk it off. Yesavage and Bassitt both gave up runs too.
  13. Honestly i can live with this regular season Vlad IF he pops off in the playoffs. What he did in the 2025 postseason was astounding
  14. Honestly running out these washed former stars is tiresome. Scherzer and Springer are both toast and shouldn’t be starting.
  15. Aint no fkn way Springer should be playing over Pinango, Sanchez, Lukes, or Valenzuela. If this FO wants to win, Springer will remain on the bench
  16. Also getting 0 from Springer, and tons of injuries to boot. And Hoffman blowing several games. Its remarkable we’re even near the playoff conversation
  17. This management is actively choosing to give the most at bats to a washed DH battling the mendoza line with a wRC+ of 80. Unserious about winning until this is changed
  18. That Judge homerun was a gut punch. He definitely had his share of Hoffman-esque moments in the playoffs, and arguably Hoffman was better in October.
  19. Its not as ridiculous when you see what a “dead cat bounce” is with other former star players. Guys like Crawford, Longoria, Pujols, etc. They all had 1 last hoorah season before becoming unplayable in their late 30s
