  1. Sosa at DH over Eloy IMO tells us who they plan on cutting when Springer returns.
  2. Springer is a dawg, knew he wouldn’t be missing much time. People were quoting 4-6 weeks lol
  3. Yes, that is/could be a factor that doesn’t get factored into the raw numbers. I suppose we will see if the suck is behind him now or not
  4. That’s another level though lol removing 40% of the stats
  5. You can’t be serious with this… take away the 2 bad starts and look at just the 3 good starts and his numbers look good? Like yeah no sht? Take away Scherzer’s bad starts against LA and MIN and he looks like an ace!!
  6. On February 6, 2026, former MLB player Yasiel Puig was found guilty of obstruction of justice and making false statements to federal officials. The charges stem from lying about his involvement in an illegal sports betting ring, with sentencing scheduled for May 26, 2026, where he faces up to 20 years in federal prison. Not sure how this might affect the signing lol
  7. So what do you think of Lauer’s poopoo stats lately? And how do you think his stuff will play up in the pen? I am curious
  8. It seems inevitable at this point. Not sure why the dude is being such a primadonna
  9. If dude tries to run any faster he’ll blow a hammy He’s got Stanton speed
  10. Do you remember how long Devin Williams lasted as closer though? This isn’t really true
  11. Im sure his answer will be that other guys were unavailable and that Nance needed some work…. A fair answer except idk why he tried to stretch him for a 2nd inning. Playing with fire
  12. Not sure exactly why Nance was given a 2nd inning, against the top of the lineup to boot. Odd decision
  13. Yes, DFA is a dumb suggestion but I believe that was being said as a way to potentially keep him and stash him in AAA. I doubt he would accept that though
  14. I think it just comes down to money really. He’s upset he got less money in arbitration, and since he’s a free agent next year, he’s hoping to get a big contract maybe something like 3/45 as a starter. He probably feels like if he pitches in long relief for majority of the year then he won’t get that big contract he wants. And he might be right. However, his numbers could very well look worse as a full-time starter as opposed to a long relief role. But that’s just the confidence of an athlete clouding his judgment. And at the end of the day, he shouldn’t be airing his grievances to the media.
  15. Exactly. Jays should trade him to a team like the Rays where they’ll f up his value a lot more Dude is a bit delusional, the Jays have given him an excellent opportunity to display his talents and probably put him in a better position to succeed than most teams would have.
  16. All i can think is that he feels we shouldn’t be happy about the win, we should be upset because Hoffman was given the save op
  17. First start wasn’t even that bad, i remember some terrible batted ball luck in the 1st before he gave up that homer. And a lot of deep counts which kept him from pitching longer
  18. Seriously some of these guys here are dumb as bricks
  19. I don’t know about that, but I stongly believe he will have more IP than Scherzer. He’ll be here for another few weeks at least
