1. Dinger's Baseball Prospectus Quality Positional Breakdown of this Wager

Pos BTS Boxy

C Ramos/Astudillo > Francisco Cervelli

1B Joey Votto > Matt Olson

2B Cesar Hernandez = Ben Zobrist

3B Mike Moustakas < Josh Donaldson

SS Chris Taylor << Alex Bregman

CF Ronald Acuna >> Randal Grichuk

OF Juan Soto >> Yasiel Puig

OF Michael Brantley = Jesse Winker

DH Ji-Man Choi Fail No Keeper

SP1 Jacob deGrom = Chris Sale

SP2 Mike Clevinger = Miles Mikolas

SP3 JA Happ = Kyle Hendricks

SP4 Jake Arrieta < Mike Folty

SP5 Trevor Cahill < Ross Stripling

BP Britton, Pressly, Minter, etc > Kela, Devenski, dogshit

Verdict: Slight advantage BTS, odds at 55/45. That said, BTS will rely heavily on Acuna and Soto to carry the offence, so if they regress a bit, and Votto's power doesn't come back, the offence might crap out hard. Similar concerns abound for Boxy, whose offence will rely on Bregman continuing to hit like an MVP, as well as a resurgent and healthy Donaldson. Both teams have good high end aces as well as SP depth, but both lack elite relief pitching. Both teams receive failing grades at DH (UTIL) but will have the flexibility to acquire a vetrin bat to plug in there and/or rotate through waiver wire fliers.
 2. f***in doy. Is this even a question? I was at the Brett Lawrie home debut and I shed a tear when he hit that grand slam.
 3. Are you doing some daisy-chain draft here? These new owners don't really know anybody to make an informed decision. I would have just let Div winners draft everyone in a snake.
 4. I don’t really care. Seemed like a fun low stakes way to freshen up the league a bit. I would be in favour of expanded MiLB rosters for the record, just not a big fan of adding MLB keepers, flexible or otherwise.
 5. Oh. Well, sorry you’re not a DDL influencer.
 6. Not sure how this constitutes radical change. Divisions barely matter at all, they’re just cosmetic.
 7. Division winners can still draft back their chief rivals. I don’t see the issue.
 8. There’s been a lot of owner turnover since those divisions were drafted. Let the div winners draft their new divisions and let’s make some new rivalries.
 9. He was jacked AF when he first came up then gradually got weirdly skinny and lost all his power. Open and shut case.
 10. I’m gonna say it: Lawrie was for sure on PEDs that season.
 11. Sore subject, but Soto makes up for that horrid gaffe (6 years later).
 12. You just traded me the next Gay Sanchez.
 13. I'm trading George Sun + MiLB #3 to NJH for Joey Bort.
 14. Lol STUNNING!! Look at all those studs. Collusion!
 15. I kinda like Hurl's chance for this year. Dogshit SP, but a very nice bullpen can keep him in the mix for rations, HLD, and SV, while the offence looks good.
 16. Punting C before the waiver draft seems like the right call. I could see that team being in the middle of the pack, possible playoff team if things break right. If it doesn't work out you have some very interesting vet pieces you could sell (Dozier, Smoak, Chapman, Maeda) and rebuild in short order around Bellinger, Springer, Berrios, Diaz.
 17. Agreed, he is a -6 WAR player. He is going to crash and burn so hard this season. He's like if you merged Alcides Escobar with stubby-leg Jean Segura's season when his daughter died. Terrible.
 18. Inflates their trade value by signalling to other teams that they consider them highly advanced for their age. Worked well with Jorge Alfaro and Lewis Brinson, who they dumped before they showed their true shittiness.
 19. I guess I kinda forgot you existed, and now that you’re back, it just feels right.
