  1. Melky to the DL anyone?
  2. Burch Smith and Sean Marshall are available for a pick.
  3. Me too. I'm amazed how much roster crunch there is in such a deep league.
  4. Denard Span could also be had for a pick.
  5. I'm looking to move Scott Kazmir or John Lackey for a pick. No reasonable offer refused.
  6. Apparently Felix Doubront is a very divisive player.
  7. Probably because he struck out a batter per inning last year and his K rate has gone up this year. He's young. It could easily tick up another 1 or 2 MPH next year.
  8. Doubront is ownable as a Ks play alone. He's a great late week play if you're down by a few Ks or a W and you have nothing to lose in the ratios. Would own again.
  9. I predict he loses his rotation spot by July and is not a keeper for you.
  10. LOL Njh trades Doubront to BTS for a 4th round pick.
  11. I already did that on the Proboard, it's easy enough to cross reference.
  12. Two days ago when you wrote me back about Konerko. Maybe you just skimmed over the Konerko part and deleted it, I dunno.
  13. I made Buxton available for Scherzer and didn't even get a response.
  14. I'm just jealous that you snaked an SP in his prime who's clipping along at 11 K/9. I hope his shoulder turns into pulled pork.
  15. Trading your best pitcher is a tough way to accomplish that.
  16. Jose Fernandez is a great keeper piece, but it's virtually a lock that he'll be shut down before the fantasy playoffs.
  17. Marmol is an absolute liability. I wouldn't even take a flier on him on waivers.
  18. Since we're shopping closers, Balfour, Rodney and Street are all available. Ideally I'd like to package one with another player for an upgrade in CF or SP.
  19. As long as he hasn't played a game you can draft him. In fact, theoretically a player could have been added to the Yahoo database, owned on a roster, released, and then later drafted in the prospect draft, as long as they haven't played an MLB game. For example, last year Corey Spangenberg was in the database, this year he isn't. Yahoo is a little better about not adding prospects in the low minors now, though.
  20. IFAs have to be signed prior to the draft to be eligible.
  21. Yep. If they sign with a team prior to the draft, they are eligible.
  22. Meh, I don't think the 4th pick will end up costing you that much, I think it's a weak draft. Easily worth it to land a pre-prime ace like Harvey.
  23. Wow, love this one for you. I really dont see Wieters as a special fantasy player, his value is mostly defensive. I guess now Gibbers plays Posey at 1B? I'm biased, but IMO I made a stronger offer.
